5 of us visited for Sunday lunch and as ever very pleased with the service and food. Fresh homemade food in large portions that left us all full up with 3 of us having puddings! Including drinks £70 - who! The Woolpack does things right and keeps everything simple thank you.

Wonderful "conversation" pub...no TV, piped music, gambling machines etc., just good old fashioned inn. Dog friendly, cozy atmosphere with some of the best pub food around. The menu caters for both standard pub fare and more adventurous restaurant quality dishes at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff and quality craft ales, add in a welcoming fire in the hearth, my idea... More

Lovely little pub. Popped in after walking the dog. Great Marston's beer for me and my dog loved the treat jar! Really cosy in the snug! Food did smell good but we didn't eat this time.

Nice pub in a nice location at the edge of the town centre. They do shut for a couple of hours in the afternoon. I've been in a couple of times for a beer, but haven't tried the food. Nice old interior. I particularly like the snug. The real ale is ok, but I'm not a fan of the Marstons... More

My local - regularly pop in for drinks and food. Fantastic local, dog welcome ( in hard-floored area including the snug) Food is great, if at the upper end of pub prices. Try the pie! Jennings regular ales, plus guests.

What can I say. Good home cooked food with ginormous portion sizes. Great that the dog can come too. Always my go to pub in Beverley

These are the words of one of the lovely locals we met on our recent visit. My cousins and I booked to have a very late lunch on Sunday. I have a dog but that was no problem as we were seated in a cosy flagged snug. The pub was very busy but service was excellent - friendly and very... More

We had taken flowers to a friend, the weather was awful and going home to cook not inspiring.Passing the Woolpack that appeared closed we did a detour around Beverley to return to check it out. Our luck was in and an enquiry to ask ask if they could feed us resulted in a thumbs up! The Woolpack is a really typical... More

Cannot fault this little pub. The welcome is always warm, food plentiful and excellent quality and quantity at a very decent price. Don't change!!
