Decided to walk from barnard castle to cotherstone on the teesdale way. Bit further and more difficult terrain than we thought, supposedly we are not the only ones to have said that on arriving at the Fox and hounds. What a wonderful reception, so friendly....More

Just the thing after a walk as they are happy to welcome hikers as well as locals. Great beer and real fires ensure you have a warm welcome.
