Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just watching Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci in Supernova. They just had lunch at the 66! They sat in the window overlooking the car park and the 66 sign outside. Very cool 😎👍

It’s the second time for us. Found it last time when driving to Norwich and decided to lunch again here. Much much better than any of the motorway services options. Chicken goujons were very tasty and homemade ham was delicious. We know where to stop...next time :)More

Excellent local produce in the café and shop. This was our first visit but we wouldn't hesitate to stop off here in future. Delicious homemade soup and burger and the absolute best gluten free brownie I've ever eaten.

We always look out for this cafe when we visit Whitby or anywhere this direction. The food and welcome is second to none. Everything is perfectly cooked and fresh, just one tiny criticism the brown sauce in sachets is horrible and tastes like vinegar please...try another make. Wont stop us calling though the sausages are lovely.More

This is a grand little café offering nice food in a welcoming environment. They have a nice log burning stove, and our dog was made very welcome too. If you’re looking for food and/or a drink while travelling across the A66, this place is ideal.

The first time we were going to stop there overshot the entrance and whilst nearly at the end of the dual carriageway only accessible east bound. Now know to look out for the sign some 300m from turn off. Good sized car park. Friendly staff....Better than most roadside cafes. Wide ranging menu and compared to similar cafes in the Lake District excellent value. Toilets spotless.More

Cafe Sixty Six is our favourite place to stop on our journeys between the Scottish Borders & North Yorkshire. The food is delicious & the staff are really welcoming. Today we stopped for a late lunch of steak pie and once again it did not...disappoint.More

Really welcoming restaurant - stunning views, friendly people, and hearty, well-prepared food made with high quality local ingredients. The log burner made it extra cosy on a cold winter's afternoon.
