Called in here for lunch. Admittedly it was half term and the place was packed with families but we managed to get a table from someone who was just leaving. The table was covered in dirty dishes and a sea of crumbs. While I was at the counter ordering one of the staff went over to the table to clear it. She was making a bit of a hash of stacking the dishes so my partner gave her a hand. The clearer asked my partner if she wasn't satisfied with what she was doing to which she received a reply telling her that she was only trying to help. The young lady didn't come back with a cloth to clear the crumbs off the table. That was left to us to brush them onto the floor!
When the food arrived it was excellent and the portion was huge - but it needed to be for the price. Some of the dearest fish and chips I've ever had but the batter and fish was delicious so I'm not complaining.
The car park alongside is run by Parking Eye so be very careful about not overstaying your time as they have a reputation of not taking prisoners. Keep your ticket stub and present it when paying in the cafe and you will get £1 back if you spend less that £5 and £2 if you spend over £5.
Will I be back? Possibly in the better weather when we can take advantage of the outdoor tables with the fine view over the beach and bay though we may go for an evening meal as the menu was very tempting - and a lot cheaper than the lunchtime one.

Right on the beach at the north end, a good spot to watch the kite surfers while having something to eat. One of us had tea and toast with marmalade and one had a flat white and mushrooms on toast. Portions were a good size and service was quick. Excellent value at £12 all in.

An evening meal at the Cafe Oasis is something for a ritual for us - we invariably eat out there when we are visiting family in Weymouth. So it the usual anticipation of our visit there one wet Friday evening was also accompanied by a sense of trepidation - would it be quite the experience of previous visits? Thankfully it was, and the food and general ambience was as sparkling as ever. The North African fish stew was as flavoursome as I remembered it, but that is to pick out just one aspect of what was a delightful meal from start to finish, served by friendly and efficient waiting staff. And if the murky weather outside meant that we could not easily make out the waves rolling up the beach, the lights of Weymouth in the distance picking out the curve of the bay were more than a compensation. A constant delight.

I visited the cafe today with my partner and elderly grandmother. The food was nice, albeit a little bit expensive and the lady on the kiosk was friendly.
After I had eaten (on the table outside on a plate and with table service) I went inside to use the toilet but I was told I wasn’t allowed and had to cross the road to the public toilet. The lady was really rude and offered no explanation just that i could not enter. I am pretty sure this is illegal as we were served at a table and they have a drinks license. I asked if my elderly disabled grandmother could use the toilet and she said no one could, despite people using the toilet inside and me offering to do the track and trace.
I am shocked and saddened by the rudeness of the staff to customers and it ruined our entire lunch. Will certainly not be visiting again.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, and I apologise for the time it has taken me to reply.
Firstly I am pleased that your experience was overall enjoyable. Unfortunately, as you'll see from other reviews, we had to be very strict with covid regulations until July 19th which meant that we could not let anyone inside. I'd imagine people that you may have seen going in & out would have been suppliers, staff or the boss as a small business we can't risk getting closed down or paying big fines especially given the proximity of the public toilets. I'm sorry this hampered your visit, we are now open for a few tables inside and outside as restrictions have allowed. Thanks again for your review. Cafe Oasis.

My mother and I with my 4 month old baby took shelter here from the rain with the intention of having lunch on a quiet Tuesday at roughly 12pm.
We’ve been here previously and noted it was a dog friendly establishment which was ideal as we had my mother’s very well behaved little dog with us who would sleep quietly under the table.
Upon entering we saw that the cafe was quiet with maybe 8 people across the whole seating area.
We chose a table in the corner so that I could discretely feed my baby and that the dog could be under the table well away from peoples feet.
It was pouring with rain, windy and cold outside so we were very grateful to find a warm quiet place to take shelter and have lunch.
However before we could even take our coats off we were approached and told we had to leave as the dog was only allowed in before 11am and after 3pm! The cafe was very quiet, we were certainly not disturbing anyone and yet were sent back out in to the cold with a baby.
Appalling and unbelievable behaviour! We left immediately in utter shock.

First time to try this cafe, daughter is local but hadn’t tried it so we took a chance. It was a late lunch so cafe comfortably welcoming but not overcrowded with all Covid measures in place.
Lots of fish on the menu but also enough of a variety for non fish eaters (my husband) He chose the mushroom & feta cheese omelette, daughter scallops & I had the fish stew, which I believe was the most expensive meal on the menu, but goodness me it was worth every penny! Such a lot of fish it was terrific value for money & it quite possibly was the best plate of food I’ve eaten. I actually forgot about the glass of wine I was supposed to enjoy with my food, unheard of!!
As we visit quite often we will definitely return to sample some more delights!

The cafe is in a superb position next to the beach. Staff are friendly, the coffees are nice but the menu has changed since lockdown as they no longer do toasted sandwiches; so you either have the tasty but expensive main meals or normal sandwiches.
They used to do a fantastic crab sandwich but that is no longer on the menu so I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich ,which is served with a sprinkling of mixed salad. The bread was dry and seemed to be of a ready sliced Hovis type and the sandwich tasted just ok (on a par with a similar M&S type sandwich), which is disappointing as it expensively cost £8:00.

Thanks for your kind words about our staff and coffee. Yes indeed our menu has changed recently and rising costs over the past two years mean we have had to raise our prices. Unfortunately we felt that £15 for a crab sandwich was too much, as the cost of crab is sky high, so we've opted away from it. Instead we offer the salmon sandwich you tried, which is my personal favourite or a prawn sandwich, and we just put a small garnish with those. As with everywhere the cost of living means we've had to raise prices.

We don’t live far away so I am a regular for a morning coffee but this is the first time I have been for an evening meal.
I booked on the day for a table for two (me and my daughter) we didn’t expect them to have anything but the woman on the phone was so friendly and accommodating.
Walking in, it was lovely to see the transformation from daytime coffee shop to beachside taverna. Staff were so friendly we immediately felt like it would be a great experience and we weren’t wrong.
Menu was simple but interesting and a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses, really reasonably priced.
My daughter is vegetarian and not overly adventurous but there were plenty of options.
Wine was varied and many options served by bottle or glass.
Food was exceptional, we felt like we were in a lovely taverna abroad (helped by the sound of the sea and lovely views)
Fresh tomato soup, whole bream and mussels were just wonderful.
As a local in a tourist town, we often struggle to find consistent good food that is not influenced by the holiday trade. Cafe Oasis is most definitely a place to visit if you are on holiday or just wish you were. Amazing 🤩

On a recent Summer afternoon my friend and I had a wonderful iced coffee at Café Oasis. We were greeted with excellent and fast service. When we asked for cutlery a young chap was quick in meeting our request, and we discussed his university ambitions at Cardiff - best of luck to him for the future. The coffee itself was immaculate and I'm sure I'll be back on my annual return South.

Overpriced for what it was. We ordered a tuna Mayo toastie and a ham and chutney toastie, both are offered with cheese but we asked for no cheese. The tuna Mayo was over £7.00 and the ham well over £6.00 so was expecting something rather nice. Got a bit of a shock when we opened our takeaway boxes, limp thin toasties made from cheap sliced bread with a bit of filling. Can’t believe they are getting away with charging that much, will not order from here again. Rip off.

My family and I have eaten and has coffee here on many occasion in the past and always been happy with the food and coffee. However, I visited the cafe late this afternoon, the kiosk was closed and the sign on the kiosk said that if it was closed to go to the main door to be served. I went to the main door and was met by a 'gentleman' and I asked if I could order some coffees at which point I was informed that they were closed. I pointed out what the sign said on the kiosk and was told "I really don't care"!
Extremely rude and poor customer service As a result of this I feel I will have of consider whether I would use the cafe again. - Shame

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Clearly our situation in the current climate is taking its toll on our staff & we are so sorry that you didn't get the service you have come to expect from cafe oasis. Hopefully you will come back to us and things will be better next time. For reference the cafe opens at 8am and closes at 5pm & very occasionally earlier if we have a function, like a wedding, that needs to be set up for the evening service. Thanks again, Cafe Oasis

Came for a cuppa...stayed for breakfast! We have a nut allergy sufferer and dairy intolerance in our party, and both could be catered for. Polite staff who seemed to be enjoying their job, good food, amazing view. Only slight downside was one member of staff I think may have been new and didn't quite know what she was doing so it took over 10 mins to get some ketchup and it wasn't overly busy. However, fully understand that business are not only managing the usual summer trade, but also negotiating Covid. As someone who is clinically vulnerable and double jabbed, I still feel nervous about being out. I felt quite safe in Cafe Oasis though.

This seaside beach cafe which is frequented by locals (always a good sign) is in a superb position next to the beach. You can sit inside or outside the cafe. Staff were friendly, and ready to help. We ordered two full english breakfasts with extra mushrooms which came to the table surprisingly quickly as there was a long queue for food and drinks with the cafe being full. The food was well cooked and we enjoyed every mouthful, leaving nothing. Our coffees was served in large cups and were pipping hot.
Should we be in Weymouth again, this cafe will be on our list even if only for a coffee and some of the delicious looking cakes we had no room for after breakfast!

Virtually on the beach, some tables are actually on the beach. This is my favourite cafe to visit during the day in or around Weymouth, also very good when it is open in the evenings. Very relaxing, ideal for just a cup of tea or breakfast, lunch etc. Nice menu. Usually full at lunch time, but plenty of tables on the beach. I visit here often.

I visited Oasis Cafe and waited a good 15 minutes for some takeaway drinks. Paid over £6 for two small hot chocolates that were cold, I was already back in the car when I realised so I didn’t go back. I used visit a lot but more recently I think the interior needs a revamp and the menu is too expensive for what you get.

Thanks for your review. I am sorry your hot drinks weren't hot, had you revisited the counter it would have been replaced for you without the need to wait in the queue. Our prices hadnt changed for more than 2 years, until last week, in spite of costs of buying stock & staff wages rising.
