Very ordinary but obviously upgraded. Expensive menu for what used to be a coffee house. I think it's undergone a few changes recently.

We went to Florentios for a pre theatre meal. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and shown to our table. The restaurant is very comfortable. We ordered a bottle of wine, then selected our meals. The starters were excellent and well presented. We chose two pizza's at a cost of £15.00 for our main meal. This was... More

3 of us went on a quiet Saturday night. Staff were friendly but it seemed as though they were mainly working in the other aspects of the hotel maybe (like The Bank which it's attached to) as they weren't always present. It took about half an hour for the food to come out, although it wasn't an issue as we... More

I went to Florentinos last night for a friends Birthday, it was the second or third time for most of us, and although it was a Wednesday night we were still suprised to be the only table! The setting is lovely. The staff were very attentive. The menu is small but I think thats a good thing. When the food... More

Have eaten her on a few occasions now, and each time been disappointed with the food. But thought I'd have another try last night the service Is always excellent, as you'd expect from the Brends. I ordered the slow cooked beef stew with crispy potatoes. Sounds lovely but unfortunately it wasn't. Beef was tough, if you found any and the... More

We visited Florentinos for the first time last night before venturing off to the Cinema which is close by. The restaurant was well presented with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was good and service excellent it just lacks numbers, which could be down to the fact that passers by don't notice it's there and perhaps end up at "62 The... More

Myself and my family decided last minute to dine at Florentions and I'm glad we did. On arriving we were seated by the window, which the children loved. The service was very good, nothing was to much trouble. We ordered the garlic mushrooms to start and I must say they were by far the best garlic mushrooms I've ever tasted.... More
