When I arrived it was a great atmosphere with very polite staff. The lamb I had was some of the best lamb I ever have eaten and the deserts were divine. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

We found this gem on a walk near where we were staying. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. And a wonderful cheese plate was the perfect end to a perfect meal.

Back visiting family in Durham and very pleased to see restaurant open. Full, so good atmosphere. We had lamb and sea bass, followed by tarte tatin and cheese board. All excellent as was accompanying wine. Prices very reasonable.

We visited last night and as usual the food was excellent. The meal was served at a nice slow pace, no rush between courses, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The lamb rump, chicken and the steak were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended and...More

I believe it is possible to buy a voucher online but the restaurant is only running a takeaway service at the moment, as the North East is in tier 3. Check out the restaurant website for up to date details.
