A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday Roast with my friends. A thoroughly fantastic selection of roasts to select from, also for a fantastic price. The best way to experience this place really isn't by reading reviews, it's to go there and experience the Sunday Roast yourself, so I'm going to stop writing now.

Went for "Christmas" meal with some colleagues from work. Although their was a Christmas menu we selected from the ordinary menu. Food was really good, good size portions, home cooked chips, well presented and good service. Have been to the Court Inn a number of times over the years and pleased to see they maintain a high standard

Called into this place in durham for a quick snack with my girlfriend, very nice pub with a warm feel about the place , we were sharply seated by a helpful member of staff and presented our menus promptly, we were then greeted by a very polite and well spoken enthusiastic young man, we asked him to recommend a light... Over 120 gins to try! My idea of heaven! I had the Durham cask aged which was fantastic- along with the Hexham which was also good. My husband enjoyed a couple of pints of Maximus. The menu looked look although we'd already eaten. Nice to be able to take our dog with us. Nice interior- really could have stayed and... More

My wife and I recently went to the Court Inn with friends. We pre booked (just as well as it was really busy). We had the option of the Christmas menu or the limited menu. Both had excellent choices. Between us we chose burgers, pizzas and the kangaroo steak. Yes it was a little slow getting to the table, but... More

Just off Elvet Street near the prison and jobcentre, hidden away is the great little pub, which can get very busy at times. Lovely Carvery, or Carvery Sandwiches, or a range of unusual meats like ostrich or kangaroo.

We enjoyed the Christmas Fayre for our works Christmas meal. The food was excellent the staff were friendly but the waiteress only served at the top of the table and we had to pass the food to its recipient. The atmosphere was good. I would warmly recommend this Inn the food is lovely and very good value.

Had our works Christmas meal here. Unfortunately the meal was very disappointing with the most unappetizing starters and deserts. The pate was served with bread that could've broken your teeth, the soup was similar to a cuppa soup and the garlic mushrooms were swimming in oil. The carvery was acceptable with a good choice of well cooked meat and the... More
