A relaxed, comfortable environment to have a meal or a few beers. I could tell as soon as I walked in it had a good vibe. Despite the mahoosive menu, this did not deter from the quality of the food. We ate here twice in 4 days. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Portions are large and good value as well... More

We continue to go to this restaurant on a regular basis. We are not afraid to take our friends, because we know the service and food will be good. The friends we took last week had not been before, but loved their meal and thought that the prices were so reasonable.Next time we will try their other bar and restaurant... More

Read a comment on a friends FB and decided to call at this restaurant. I am so delighted to have done so. The ambience was very great, the staff very pleasant and the food second to none with the added bonus of a varied menu to choose from. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals very much and we... The Hanging Kebabs of Leamside and a drink for £11.95 represents great value. My Lamb Kofta kebab with a bowl of salad and a bowl of chips was very filling and my Leamside Brewery pint of Sicknote was a delightful blonde bitter. We ate in the bar which was cosy and a great alternative to the restaurant which was packed... More

Having just moved near to this pub, we have been in about 5 times now and each time, received excellent service and the food was delicious each time. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, as I'm a very fussy with food, but can't fault anything. Keep the tasty food coming - we'll be back and I would definitely... More

I went here for the first time in about 4 years, today and was delighted to discover it was just as outstanding as ever. It's a bit off the beaten path so I haven't had a chance to come back before now but I'm glad we did. The service, from the moment you enter the door, is excellent and very... More

Very disappointed, unlike previous visits. Food was luke warm and I do not think serving mushy peas is acceptable with a Sunday lunch. Gravy was like water and veg selection was very poor. However, staff were very nice. Great shame 😢

My wife and I booked for the Kebab night , and we weren't disappointed. Efficient friendly service , food was very nice and plenty of it. Drinks and food both reasonably priced. Will definitely be calling again.

I came here with my partner on a Sunday, not realising it was a set menu. They very kindly made us something off their regular menu with no fuss. The food was lovely and came very quick even though the place was packed. And the meal only came to £27! Will definitely be returning here!
