Swift and effective service and very nice food with plenty to choose from. Would happily revisit this little gem 😀

Called in on a busy Saturday afternoon but managed to get a window seat. very nice coffee albeit in a small cup but he cakes were lovey, bakewell slice a hit!
I can't comment on the cakes but we had soup and scrambled eggs. The soup was not homemade (I asked) and the eggs were inedible - dry and rubbery with a strange taste - must have been made with powdered egg. Not sensible to have...More
Called in for a coffee when it started raining, the cakes & scones were very tempting & tasted as good as they looked,very pleasant friendly service, enjoyed so much went back again the next day, it didn't disappoint.
Popped in here as they had board outside to say they sold gluten free cakes. Choose chocolate millionaire shortbread a bit to rich but that was my choice. Shop due to shut but stayed open till we finished

Called in here when visiting Durham recently. Only had tea and coffee which was fine and the staff very friendly. Reasonably priced and good decor.
