I went to the restaurant as it was my 65th birthday and they had both bought me a birthday card and a nice birthday boy banner on the table the food was outstanding and what a shame I was alone with no other diners but it was a Tuesday night I chose this one because the food is excellent and... We visited with friends on a Saturday night. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. All food is freshly cooked to order so inevitably there is a slight delay between ordering and receiving the food. It was well worth waiting for, everyone in our group enjoyed their choices from the menu. We felt the... More

Amazing starters. Fresh scallop and king prawns. The best steak in Torbay, better than The Elephant, and certainly all the chains. Awesome deserts of Zabaglione and tiramisu. Service impeccable and personal. X

The restaurant is small and cozy. They only seat about 22 people a night so you don't feel rushed to vacate your seat. We were served by Lucy who was a very good waitress. We started with the scallops which didn't really resemble the menu as they were quite spicy but that was not a bad thing just unexpected. Our... More

Been to Quo Vadis a few times but not a for a while and certainly pre-TripAdvisor Days. If anything Quo Vadis has got even better over time. My wife had the Italian Scallops as a starter followed by the Rosemarino and loved them both. I went for the Minestrone soup and the Sirloin Pizzaiola and again they were both superb.... More

My partner and I dined here during our recent stay in Paignton. Although the front of the restaurant doesn't look like much the food speaks for itself. I had several, very large, king prawns in a not too spicy sauce which were the best I've had anywhere, really meaty and not too expensive at around £18 which included sides of... More

Arrived late at our hotel but called ahead to book a table at Quo Vadis, We had read good things and we were not disappointed... Wendy was lovely as front of house and Michele the chef (and husband) was amazing. We requested something off menu and he was able to create it perfectly. The quality of food was really good... Food is always freshly cooked and so sometimes there is a little wait. Michaela the owner and chef is a truebitlian and very passionate about serving good quality delicious food. This is a family run restaurant and therefore warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming.
