We had lunch and dinner here during a recent stay at the Premier Inn attached. The food was OK but the service was very slow and they had run out of some things. The weather had been unexpectedly good and I think they'd been taken by surprise by the number of customers. The "system" for queuing to order food was... More

who on earth is the manager here? On the opening night of the quay west fireworks there were very few staff, who were clearly run off their feet, the pub was packed inside and out. Food was being served but the wait was far too long. The girl who was serving behind the bar had a que all the way... More

We stayed at the Premier Inn and this was the restaurant attached to it. We had breakfast there every morning which was plentiful, with lots of choice. However we did eat there one evening and the food was average at best. The staff were very friendly and helpful but there are far better places to eat in and around Torbay.

We used to visit this restaurant a lot as it is quite near us but on the last few visits it had been dire so we stopped going there for a bout a year. Yesterday was our first return visit there and to be honest it was because we had two for one vouchers. 9 of us ate altogether and... More

I rarely write reviews but did feel compelled to and I see a lot of people have experienced the same. I recently had dinner at Brewer's Fayre Cadgers Brae twice and both occasions were really positive experiences with good food and good service. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Inn on the Quay. Stopped here with our daughter... More

We had such lovely service at the premier inn but that`s were it ends unfortunately. we stay here few days ago and we had booked a table in the restaurant for the lunch and we had to wait over ten minutes to be seated at the stand because the sign said wait to be seated. eventually we got the manager... The place is in disarray. We are regulars and don't know what has happened here in the past couple of weeks but it is a shambles. The staff are rude, rushed ans uninterested. The children who I assume are managers are rude, unprofessonal and dismissive. A woman running around shouting and sniping at people. 1/2 hour wait for drinks in... More

My sister and I, along with our families were holidaying in Paignton over the Easter Weekend. As is usual for us, we didn't think about booking anywhere to eat out on Friday evening and ended up doing a ring round trying to book a table for 7 people at very short notice. Inn on the Quay were fantastic, although they... More

We visit Paignton twice a year and have stayed at the Premier Inn a few times .We didn't stay there on our most recent visit but we called into the Brewers Fayre Inn on the Quay. The interior is now looking dated and sad .Some of the staff have a bad attitude and clearly do not want to be there. The toilets... We visited y this evening and had the worst experience possible. We booked our table for 6 for a group of 7. We were taken to our table and ordered our food. The children's starter arrived and they started eating. We were then informed we had been sat at the wrong table and had to move. With the kids already... More
