I booked a table at short notice-not an issue, ate food with my friends. An extensive menu with lots of choice. They were so friendly, i asked them to customise in their platter by adding vegetarian more and that taste was so familiar as i ate in India. After so long time we had such a delicious meal.
Looking forward to going back.

Oh My Gosh - where to start? The words brillant, amazing tasty, delicious, manificent, awesome, scrumptious, excellent, are all words that apply to the food and service of this place but still does not highlight how mindblowingly good the food is here.
I have travelled and ate all over the world and the best fine dining places you can imagine and this resturant has the best food and drinks hands down.
Im not one easily impressed, especially when it comes to my love (food) but the food here blew me away.
It became a joke at my table, because every mouthful of food all I could say was "Oh My Gosh" it was amazingly outstanding!!!!!
The service is on par also and the cleanliness of this place is evident - not suprising they have a *5* food hygeine rating (something I always look for at any eating establishment I dine in).
If you want to experience authentic, mindblowing, delicious Indian food, don't go anywhere else to have an indian meal.
I will be back and highly, highly recommend this place.

Fresh, distinctive flavours made this takeaway a real treat. The portions were plenty, and the food tasted as if it had just been prepared. We were delighted to discover this restaurant and look forward to many more tasty meals from it in the years to come. (Note -meals need to be paid to the delivery person in cash)

I recently visited with my family for a birthday meal and the food was wonderful as usual.
I wanted to leave a review to commend the staff who were fantastic.
In particular the lovely waitress with the pinkish blonde hair and the young male waiter who couldn’t do enough.
I have always received excellent service in this restaurant and the food has never disappointed, I am reluctant to ever visit any other local Indian restaurants as I doubt they could exceed the experience at Tulsi.

Second time we have had a disappointing meal here. I previously praised Tulsi for the way their curries all tasted really different from each other but this has changed. The starters were great as was the mossala and korma but the dansak and bhunas were awful. I was going to send the dansak back it was so bad but as we were there with another couple didn't want to cause a fuss. The restaurant was full and takeaways were flying out so maybe the kitchen was just over too worked to put the effort in. Won't be back anytime soon.

This was our first venture back into a restaurant after lockdown was lifted. What a great way to celebrate our return to ‘normal’ social life. The owner and staff went out of their way to create a safe, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The food was fresh, fragrant and delicious. From the Bombay Chowpatty Chaat and vegetable Korma to the chicken Methi Mali and traditional chicken tikka everything was delightful. I would particularly recommend the Kashmiri rice. Our server Ambro (apologies. I just know that I haven’t spelt your name correctly) was excellent warm, charming and professional. We will return.

We have been here twice since back open to the public. As always the food is just lovely, and the team are always on hand to recommend dishes. As a lover of authentic Indian food Tulsi never fails to disappoint

It's been a while since posting my last review but spurred on by the quality of tonight's carryout, here I am again. Tonight's meal was excellent. I had the Chicken Tikka Saag with pilau rice and Mandy had a side of Saag Bhaji as she still had some Daal Tadke Waali frozen from last time along with some naan (no butter).
My dish was fantastic - chicken beautifully succulent even after being reheated in the oven and the saag sauce was superb with just the right amount of heat (even though rated as '1 chilli' had a lovely depth of heat, not just plain 'hot'). It tasted so fresh and beaitifully balanced with the chilli heat. Mandy's side of Saag Bhaji was also delicious, again with a nice level of heat. Perfect for vegetarians.
Thanks to all at Tulsi for maintaining their high standards. Highly recomnended. G&M.

We've been back to Tulsi again twice this month and it's been a real treat on both occasions. It's a cosy restautant and they have really tried hard with the decor to make the most of the space. Staff are always friendly.
This month, the highlight has been the jumbo king prawns - my wife had these tandooried with a side of dall and a tawa roti, whislt I had mine with a nice hot madras sauce and pilau rice. Drinks wise, two nice cool pints of Cobra and a prosecco.
Recently we tried a modern indian in Dublin that did not even have any Indian beers and I felt that my sauce was of the jarred variety. It was therefore a treat to get back to Tulsi for some proper Indian food and beer. Thank you Tulsi.

I visited for a meal with my wife on a Saturday evening and we had 2 different types of curry. The food was very tasty, presented well and served in big portions. The naan was delicious. The waiting staff were very polite and friendly and the interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated. Overall I would have no hesitation recommending.

My recent dinner at Tulsi was an exceptional experience, capturing the vibrant and rich flavors of India beautifully. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere with traditional Indian décor that instantly transports you.
We started our meal with the Samosa Chaat, which was a delightful mix of spicy, tangy, and sweet flavors all in one dish. For the main courses, the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh were standout dishes. The butter chicken had a creamy tomato sauce that was flavorful without being overly rich, paired perfectly with garlic naan that was soft, fluffy, and freshly baked. The lamb was tender, cooked in a robust curry that was seasoned masterfully.
No meal at Tulsi would be complete without trying their biryani. We opted for the Vegetable Biryani, which was aromatic, packed with fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked rice, making it a satisfying dish for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
To finish, the Gulab Jamun, served warm with a hint of cardamom, was a perfect end to our meal. The service at Tulsi was attentive and thoughtful, with staff willing to explain dishes and offer recommendations.
Tulsi is a gem that offers an authentic taste of India’s culinary diversity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Indian cuisine in a cozy, authentic setting. Five stars for sure!

A really nice and pleasant dining experience. We were made to feel really welcome, and was engaged it polite conversation, but it wasn’t over done and forced, something my partner and I really appreciate.
Food was incredible - it arrived fast, hot and was simply delicious. The egg fried rice was amazing, a simple dish done so right.
Overall, we were incredibly happy with both price and quality of ingredients - we will definitely be back for more!

I made the mistake of ordering takeaway without checking the pricing.
Nothing elaborate, Chicken Korma and rice with a portion of Peshwari nan.
Told to pick up in 10 minutes.
I arrived at the counter and was asked for £16.45
“Are you sure? Is that right?”
The girl consulted the menu and showed me.
£10 for Korma sauce
£2.50 to add Chicken.
£3.95 for Peshwari nan.
What else could I do but pay?
On arriving home, I discovered there were no Poppadoms or dip.
The Korma sauce was just Ok but the chicken was dry….as if pre cooked chicken added into the sauce before collection.
Nothing special and outrageous at that price, I thought.
Just sayin’
I’ll be more careful in future.

What can I say. Probably my first time eating out since lockdown began last year but what a meal. Portion size was excellent but soldiered on to get through it all as each bite was different from the last. A truly excellent experience.

Really wanted to try a new Indian restaurant and came across Tulsi and it didn’t disappoint. We got the sharing start platter for 2 people and it was more than enough we couldn’t even finish it all as we still had our mains to come but it was delicious but could definitely feed more than 2 people. The mains were delicious as was the sides and naan bread. Staff were lovely as well.
