Lovely little tea room with great views, Friendly staff with excellent food but remember to leave room for a treat, the cakes are homemade. If you over indulge you can always go for a walk over the bridge the views are fantastic.

Lovely cafe serving cakes, scones, traybakes as well as light lunches including paninis, baked potatoes, soups etc. It overlooks the River Tyne and they even provide binoculars for you to look at the birds! Situated above the Peter Potter Gallery and Craft Shop.
