This is the second time at this restaurant and I don't think we will be back. The food was mediocre and the service was very slow, took an hour for our meal to arrive. The door to the pool room was open and there was some swearing, not very good when there was families in for a meal. Couldn't get... More

Found this pub on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a go. Food was lovely especially the haggis fritters with whiskey sauce. I had the mac and cheese and it was brilliant. Would definitely go back for another visit if I'm ever up that way again. The service was great as well.

We have dined here previously and the food has always been of a high standard. On this visit we again had an excellent meal, served by Julie, with the minimum of fuss and the maximum attention. Regarding the review entitled "Disappointing", the restaurant is separate from the hotel and has no control over the toilets. I am sorry that the... More

Myself and my partner has came here a few times for a quick cheap bite to eat. The good thing about this place is it is what it is, no stupid surprises on your plate, nothing fancy just simple food with a good taste at a cheap price. I have been with big tables and small tables and quality is... More

I must point out that we didn't actually eat here so cannot comment on quality of the food. We did go in with a view to having lunch but after a visit to the Toilets we chose to give it a miss, although they were clean enough the smell around and outside it was awful and very off putting. We... More

Dear Jean Thank you so much for leaving us a review, we are so sorry that you felt you couldn't stay to dine with us, and regret that you left us a disappointing review after not actually staying to eat with us. As stated in another review unfortunately the toilets are part of the Hotels responsibility and as we are... More
