Lovely food and suitable for families with all ages of children especially for a special night out. Service is excellent and menu choices very good. Atmosphere dated but suits the venue and gives a flavour of Victorian England. Very nice.

We had an excellent lunch today from the set menu. Everything was well presented and the service attentive but not rushed. The owner came to ask if we were satisfied, and of course we said yes! This is definitely worth another visit.

My parents wanted to celebrate their 50-years together, and wanted somewhere where they knew it would be faultless. In terms of timeless style, The Royal Hotel is in a class of one on the Isle of Wight. Following drinks in the garden (complimentary), fourteen of us ate Sunday lunch in the Albert Room. The best compliment I can make about... More
