We had a great dinner here on Friday 25th November. Enjoyed a 2 course meal with live jazz in the background. Conveniently located on the promenade and the food was enjoyable. We both had great starters - soup and an onion tart. Followed by mains which were a ribeye steak and a crab pasta. The pasta was a bit bland.... More

Very slick and clean, contemporary decor, smart staff and great food. The fresh bread and salted butter is enough to make you tear up the menu !! But don't because the main dishes are fabulous. Oh and lucky if you get a table with a view as we did.

Booked at last minute having found on TripAdvisor. A number of other places were closed. We were very pleased we chose the Coast Bsr and Brasserie. The food and service were excellent and a table in the window was a bonus although it was dark the views were still lovely.

Lovely situation on the seafront at Douglas. Visited twice during the Classic TT and was impressed on both occasions. Friendly and welcoming staff, good and varied choice from brasserie style menu and we were impressed by all that we tried. Fair price and excellent cappuccino ( ask for it strong ). Window table adds to enjoyment.

It proved quite hard to find a high class restaurant open on a Sunday evening but The Coast was. The atmosphere is quite modern and open. The food was faultless - delicious Manx crab and lamb. A good choice of wines and friendly staff.

We visited on a sunday evening so it was very quiet. Took a while for us to get offered a drink but staff were very nice. We had fish and chips and monkfish. Both were very nice and not over facing. Our only complaint was the music - some Ibiza chillout music which is so repetitive and given the average... More

I have eaten here on previous visits to the island. The staff are friendly and very attentive. I chose this restaurant as I was staying at the hotel and on my first night just wanted somewhere convenient to eat. The menu had plenty to choose from and after some deliberation I chose the fish and chips (adventurous I know). When... More

Booked in here as near to our hotel ( which wasn't offering dinner) and really loved it. Very friendly waiter (Damian) who was very professional.Great window seat with view of Douglas Harbour. Lovely food--not too pretentious, just good honest dishes, well prepared and presented. I tend to go for sea-bass quite often as it is a particular favourite of mine,... More
