We enjoyed a really lovely meal which was of a very high standard. Food was very good, menu was interesting with plenty of choice but not so much choice that it felt overwhelming. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning and I will definitely be ordering the fish pot!

There was a little glitch with the fryer but they did what they could to accommodate me as I am gluten free and they didn't want to take the chance. Highly recommend! A must visit. Thank you. 5*

As to the previous review i go in regularly and The Bridge has a uniform and maybe she has the wrong restaurant/ bar as the staff here do not walk off with anyone's ID especially not a passport x

Lovely little pub next too beautiful scenery. Usually start here when on a day time pub crawl. Drinks are nice and the staff over recent years have improved. Never ate from here but heard the food is lovely. Usually fairly busy and an enjoyable time can be had for all ages.

this place has been stripped of its character. it now looks like the inside of a fancy boat. don't like it so don't go in anymore.

The bridge in Douglas, is with out a doubt an amazing place to eat, with its modern decor, to its very happy and attentive staff. This evening, I was in the bridge for a meal with a few close friends of mine and what can I say, it was one of the nicest meals I have ate for a while,... More

I am a very regular visitor to the Isle of man and often went to this establishment in its earlier guise as a harbourside pub which served decent pub food. Following a fairly recent refurbishment it has gone up several notches in all respects. The bar and restaurant sections are now separate from each other. Quite a small standard menu... More

We felt very welcome and had a lovely chat with the landlady, who suggested some good place to visit on our last day on the island. The catch of the day (swordfish) was served with a delicious risotto. This was a friendly pub with good food.

Called in here on a Friday evening, our first day on the island. Quite small inside, but cozy and nice inside. Menu was a bit limited, but plenty on for our tastes. When the food arrived, it was very good indeed. Quality, fresh ingredients and decent portions. I had fish, in a lovely crisp batter and very good chips. Accompanied... More

Really was surprised at how good the food is here. I was expecting pub grub and was pleasantly surprised ! Service was excellent from Lucy and another young lady whose name I did nt get, patient and pleasant and very attentive. Had Manx queenies salad and Leek tartlette, all very tasty and fresh. My friends were all pleased with their... More
