Breakfast was very good. There was a good choice on the menu for the evening meal and everyone enjoyed their meals.

We were staying at the hotel so ate there the first evening. There weren't many vegetarian options but I was able to put a meal together. We had already eaten our bread rolls by the time the soup came and we were offered more, but declined. The soup was perfectly OK although nothing special. The Camembert tart was a (relatively... Perhaps we aren't used to IOM portions, but the over riding memory of this modern hotel restaurant is the large portions & attentive staff The prices are average for a smart Restraunt Evening meal , the tomato soup starters was a big bowl full and the bangers & mash came with 4 sausages!! The lady opposite had 2 pieces of... More

We turned up on a Tuesday lunchtime looking for lunch. The immediate response was that it would be at least 35 minutes before we'd be served. There were empty tables but, on the assumption, these were reserved, we said we'd be happy to take a table outside. No-one was sitting outside. The response was that it wasn't lack to tables,... We made a quick decision to stop here for lunch and glad we did. Friendly staff with a sense of humour. There were 4 of us and each enjoyed their choice. Very clean and comfortable. Recommend for a meal if in the Isle of Man.

Excellent food, service and value for money. Definitely recommend the Manx Queenies - but keep your bread roll to mop up the sauce as you won't want to leave a drop.

Having lunched at the hotel before, our group of six observed a couple having afternoon tea and it looked rather nice so we decided that we would try it at a later date. Excellent value. We had the Thursday Fish & Chips Special, two large pieces of cod, mushy peas, tartar sauce and a bottle of the house white, a very drinkable Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, all for £19.95 for two. Great staff.
