Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Exploring the island & hadn’t expected to find a pub at such a spectacular location. Great views & walks around this location. Friendly staff greeted us when we walked in early in the day for some coffee & cakes. Pub nicely decorated inside with lots...of comfy seating. Both coffee & cakes were good. Although we didn’t have a meal, it must be good, as even on an April Wednesday all the tables around us were reserved & it was quickly filling up.More

We came on one of the busiest Sundays - Mother's Day - and yet the service was as great as the food. We were warmly welcomed, as was our little dog. The roast pork was tender, lean and came with perfect crackling. A good selection...of wine and beer topped off a great lunch. Would highly recommend!More

Booking highly recommended to avoid disappointment. The staff managed to squeeze us in and I'm so glad they did! My partner and I had the roast beef and it was delicious! The meat and veg was just lovely, best roast I've had in a long...time, unfortunately Devon is a bit too far to travel from every Sunday for a roast! Highly recommend.More
