We never miss an opportunity to eat here - so much so - we make sure when going further north we arrive up the A9 in Aviemore in time to eat our favourite fish and chips before going on! Smashing folk, excellent food, lovely desserts (that banana split is the tops!). We will be seeing you again soon Simon and... More

Sometimes this chip shop alters it hours unexpectedly. The Fish Suppers are not bad, but can be quite pricey to sit in and eat.

Used to really enjoy the chicken burgers from here, although I've found that the last 2 have not been up to standard. On this particular visit the chicken in my burger was burnt nearly to a crisp & there was so much mayonnaise I had to pull it apart and scrape most of it off. By which stage I really... More

Myself and my family have dined at the Happy Haggis restaurant many times before and always leave extremely satisfied. The staff are a very welcoming, friendly team who cater to their customers well. Their chicken burger is my personal favorite, however my husband tells me often that Happy Haggis make the 'best fish supper in the highlands!' (in his opinion).... More

Stopped here for lunch at hubby request! (He remembers this place from his ice skating days :-)) fish and chips, bread and butter, tea and ice cream. Great food and value for money. Quick service and a happy smiling waitress. Well worth a visit.

No problems here in our opinion. Easy place to stop - close to the A9 especially if you come off at the northern junction (i.e. not through Newtonmore). Haddock had a decent batter and the chips were light and crisp.
