Went on Sat night. We're told that we could only have the table from 6.30 until 7.45 as it was booked up. That would have been OK if the service had been anything but slow. We only had time for two courses. The food was ok but nothing special but wasn't expensive either.

Wonderful restaurant with great atmosphere and amazing food at reasonable price. We were in Ilfracombe for a week and visited twice it as we thought it was best one in town. One minor thing was that all beer was bottled nothing on draft but a no biggy. Must aso mention the service was exceptional.

The food in this wonderful Italian restaurant is really delicious! My husband and I are often disappointed eating Italian food outside of Italy but Giovanni&Luca's is an exception! The sweet waitresses were courteous and charming, we only wish we lived nearer the restaurant so we could visit more often!!

We visited here for my fathers birthday and all our meals were superb, each of us all agreed we would happily go back anytime and have the same, their home made ice cream is very good too.

Attentive service, warm atmosphere, beautiful food and very reasonable prices. Recommend the pizzas and risottos, also the amaretto trifle dessert was delicious.

We don't usually eat Italian, prefer to eat local, but this was recommended, and we are pleased we discovered where it was (it's not obvious!).

We ate here while staying in Ilfracombe and were pleased we did. The menu has an excellent range of Italian food. On this occasion I ordered pizza which was exactly as expected. Between us we also ordered a bottle of red wine which was also nice. Both the food and service were good, I would certainly recommend Giovanni's and Luca's.

This restaurant is a little Gem. The staff are so friendly. The food is one of the best Italians I have eaten and I have eaten a few. They have an extensive Menu but of course I had to ask for something not on the menu But this was no problem. I started with prawns and avocado beautiful fresh prawns... More
