Character pub. Satisfactory sandwiches. Blonde barmaid's manner was less than welcoming. Beer was good.

Enjoyed an evening meal here. Good food at fair prices. Fairly quick service even though they were very busy. Seating is a bit cramped so if you have a large group , it would be a good idea to book.

Our first visit unfortunately coincided with one of their events. The barman warned us that we would be swamped later so we drunk up and returned another night. Great pub, lovely staff, really nice beers & lovely atmosphere.

Sorry no, standard toilet with two steps to negotiate. We can't accommodate a different loo because of restrictions on the 700 year old building. Hope this helps.
