Visited in Feb '17. Empty which is no problem but bar staff obviously bored. I didn't think it was possible to badly serve San Migel but I was proved wrong. Flat with a tang to it. Probably OK in the busy season.

Muy 20th year in Ilfarcombe and this is still the best pub. A whole pile of us were in there over the few days and we made noise, sang and made fun. The staff and locals joined and and we all had a great time. What a fantastic pub.

We are holidaying in the town and with it being out of season and so many places closed for winter or refurbishment, we were wandering down the road, spotted the 'quiz night Tuesday' sign and were straight inside! We were given a warm welcome and ordered drinks. Sat down for the quiz and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The landlord... More

Another enjoyable evening spent drinking in the George and Dragon before the boat to Lundy Island in the morning. An excellent traditional pub.

This was nostalgic and above all, the best pint I had on the break. Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by and inside was aolde worlde atmosphere with plenty of space and history to accomadate. Love this pub.

We have a 'thing' at the mo about "oldest pubs" lol, so we HAD to have a drink here. Very quaint, sat outside, relaxing , dog and people friendly 👍🏽. With a lovely little doggie who keeps watch from the window sill of the house opposite 😊

This is one of the oldest pubs in Ilfracombe and serves some great beers too! We also had a very substantial meal at a reasonable price too. It also has entertainment on some evening and we were lucky enough to be there on the night a very talented young man was playing - well worth a visit!
