Lovely quiet dine in area if you’re needing to sit down to eat. Staff very accommodating with allergy enquiries. Best of all, the food was amazing; beautiful fish and chips using clean oil. Delish!

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to an address in ilfracombe. Food arrived on time, was warm and really really tasty. The gluten free options were excellent too. We then visited a few days later and food equally as good. Would use again.

Always thought this was the best fish and chips in town, but having come back to my home town after a few months away I have to say i thought it was a rip off. They have put the price up again, which i totally...understand but halved the size of the fish you get. Equivalent to about 4 fish fingers. Went last year and then again this year as it was beautiful last year. We had a take away last year and this year we decided to eat in the restaurant which was Dog Friendly which was amazing. Myself I ordered the Fish and Chips...(cod) which was amazing the taste was amazing and the size portions were really generous. My son and daughter had mini fish and chips and battered sausage they absolutely loved it. If you are ever in Ilfracombe give this place a visit. You wont be dissapointedMore

Excellent food. Way better than expected. The vegan and gluten-free pengnang curry and chips was above and beyond what I expected from a fish and chop shop. Excellent presentation for a dine-in meal. The bbq burger was great. The portions are HUGE. We ordered three...sides of onion rings to go with our meals, and honestly it felt like there were enough onion rings for 6 or 7 people. Complete rip off, as good as raw chips, just rubbish every single Bit of all 5 meals. How they dare ask for even half what they charge is ridiculous. The fact the was no queue should have been a sign.

My husband visited today for our annual visit to ilfracombe. We always use Lynbay Fish and Chips. They were as fresh and tasty as usual. The chips were definitely not frozen and the fish was battered as we ordered. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny.

Absolutely disgusting, the fish was like it had been sat there for hours, batter was horrfic, chips were frozen actually saw them get pulled out the fryer and put into the fryer, can’t believe this for a harbour side fish bar unbelievable

Absolute rip off. Fish at first sight seemed OK but it was mainly puffed up batter and not much fish , to be fair the chips were very tasty but far too many of them. The tea was served in a large mug with a...teabag suspended in it with nowhere to put the teabag when you took it out. The milk and sugar portions were just thrown on the table with the teaspoons. For this we paid the princely sum of £34 for 2 people. I certainly would not call it a restaurant more of a cafe. Very disappointed and definitely won't be returningMore
