My wifey is gluten free so it was nice to find a fish and chip shop local to where we were staying. The food is amazingly good, bring your appetite. The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much problem to assist with my...wife's dietary requirements. The food was great, did I mention to bring your appetite? The is a loading bay zone outside on the narrow street, Parking is just down the end of the road and its a short walk back.More

It was a nice piece fish with plenty of chips, also I had fishcakes, they were quite greasy, the chips were too but it could be due to just coming out of fryer, should have left them to drain before serving. Apart from that, prices...have noticibly gone up, but it was expected, I'd recommend this place as it is pleasant to sit and eat in there, next time it's sausages! Thanks for the service, you are unbelievably busy and we waited a while for our meals.More

Just visited this place. We've had takeaway before so decided to eat in today. I had plaice and chips. My husband had cod and chips. The staff were great. Very efficient. Our food arrived quickly (it was a quiet when we arrived) . The food...was delicous, and plenty of it. Cooked to perfect. No grease at all. Would highly recommend this place. We will definitely visit again on our next holiday.More

Not a tourist, don;t expect to buy food that's COLD and tough as old boots, after ringing to complain, they had a go at me because I am angry at the total lack of care by the person who picked the phone up, demanding that...I bring the cold partially eaten food back. Why on earth should I have to bring the bad food back in order to get a refund? I will never eat there again. You should at the very least temp check your food! You only cook fried food, what's the issue with at the very least making sure it's hot and fresh. I do not think this is decent fod establishment, I think you think you are the best and you don't need to try anymore, you might want to revise that opinion.More

Had haddock and small chips. The small chips were really quite large and the fish was AMAZING quality. Possibly the best I've ever had. Staff were also welcoming and you can eat outside the shop on benches set into the harbour wall. £10 for the...whole lot, including a cup of tea is very good value. Thanks!More

Fantastic cod and chips down by the lean harbour … lush. Freshly cooked and gluten free for Coeliacs. Very friendly staff too. Not many places open in February so will avoid you having to cook. You can order online too if you don’t fancy the...walk.More

Our fish was cooked to order. Good quality, portions are a good size. There was a lot of friends of staff mulling about both inside and outside shop which seems to slow service down.

Been here a number of times when I come down on a holiday and don’t get me wrong I get working in a chip shop can be stressful when it’s busy as iv worked in one before but no need to be rude! I called...ahead so I didn’t need to wait around for the food to be cooked and when I arrived I got asked what I wanted and when I replied I then had the lady in a rude manner ask if I was paying cash or card when I said cash please I got 4.50 with no please or thank you, When handing over my food it was a tut and pushed towards me with no enjoy or thank you! The staff have no customer service skills and seem like they don’t even want to work!! I’m just glad this isn’t my local!!More
