Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is perfect for a relaxed family meal. I had the salmon starter, roast beef main and fruit pavlova dessert. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious. The roast beef was so flavourful and tender, along with the perfect roast potatoes and veg. Martin's homemade bread...is delicious, and Lisa's hospitality excellent. We'll definitely book again.More

We stayed over New Year in a double bedroom for 3 night B&B. It is a working farm in a beautiful setting close to the beach and lots of other amenities nearby in Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. Lisa & Martin are very friendly and welcoming...hosts and were happy to accommodate any requests we made. The room was comfortable and had what we needed to use it as a base to then go off and meet up with friends etc. The full English breakfast is a belly buster served with all you need to set you up for the day. Which you can book even if you don’t stay overnight. We were lucky enough to also have Sunday lunch here with friends joining us which was absolutely fantastic!! A delicious choice of meats and a variety of vegetables which were served in dishes at the table to help yourself to. Everyone on our table agreed what great quality, service & value for money we received. Unfortunately most of us were too full for dessert but I did manage to share a very nice Eton Mess! Wine, beer, cider and soft drinks are also available. Again Sunday lunch can be booked even if you are not staying here. Comyn Farm is a very homely, relaxed and welcoming place with a lovely chilled and happy vibe. We have plans to spend more time eating & visiting this gem.More

I had heard excellent reviews so my husband and I decided to try out Comyn Farm today. Lovely welcome, very friendly family run business. Lunch was an excellent home cooked roast. Everything was tasty and served hot. Every was served in very generous portions. The...veg could have fed twice as many people! Starter, main and pudding all got top marks. This will now be our go to for Sunday lunch Thank you Combyn FarmMore

Draughty and only one toilet. They insisted on cash only but magicked up a card reader when told that we didn't carry cash any more. Other people's dogs slobbering whilst diners ate. Dogs should not be allowed in restaurants, other than assistance dogs. Wetherspoons has...set a good example.More

They have a Facebook page which they update with which starters and main course meats they are offering. Its a limited menu of 3 starts, 3 choices of meat normally and three or four deserts. What they do, they do very well.
