Family breakfast for four with two dogs, dog friendly 100% dogs given treats each from the dog advent calendar which was a great touch .Scrambled egg on toast x2 with crispy thick cut bacon and buttermilk pancakes x2 one with thick cut Welsh bacon and syrup and one with berry compote, all food fantastic tasting and value for money. Hot chocolate was the best ever according to a hot chocolate expert and the OJ was great as well. Excellent friendly efficient service provided, wished we’d been years ago but will definitely return 👍🏻

A stunning little cafe just off upper frog street. I went solo and was made to feel so welcome by the lady on front of house. Very attentive and communicative. The food was unbelievable too. I had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup with an apple juice and a pot of tea. The pancakes were one of the best I’ve ever had very fluffy and a beautiful flavour. I will be coming back on my next visit to Tenby in April and I will be brining my family along!

A hidden gem not to be missed when visiting Tenby. A great menu and delicious food made this a place wanting to come back for more. From the Welsh rarebit to the excellent gluten free menu, to homemade pancakes for our little boy, everyone left full and happy! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back and try the delicious sounding homemade pies

For years this had been one of our favourite cafes in Tenby. Good service, friendly cheerful staff, lovely food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, this has all changed. We visited in December and were directed to a table. 35 minutes later we decided to leave as we hadn’t been even offered a drink. Maybe a blip, We decided to return in February. Again we were only served after 25 minutes and a quarter of an hour later our food arrived delivered by a dour faced waitress. My order of cauliflower soup sounded really tasty but it was inedible. It was really bitter and little other flavour than watered cumin. We explained the problem to a member of staff who asked if I would like something else to eat. I declined. I would have given a one star rating but my wife enjoyed her meal and although there was no apology, they said they would not charge for mine or my wife’s meal. Needles to say, we will not be returning, which is a shame because this used to be a lovely little cafe.

Came here with my partner who grew up in Tenby. We have family here so come up every month or so. Having been a very good restaurant in the past, we were shocked when we ordered lunch - two Welsh Rarebits - only to wait over half an hour for our food. This in itself is fine, even though this was the off season and it wasn’t very busy, but the real disappointment was the incredibly stingy portion size. Considering this dish was £9 each, all that arrived was a side plate with a single, thin slice of toast and a garnish side salad. You could have put both our portions together and it would only barely have been worth the money we paid for one. It’s so clear that this is a case of cutting portion sizes to cover costs but please reconsider whether you’re willing to pay this much money for a snack. We went home ten minutes later and had cheese on toast just to fill ourselves up. The real shame is that we do like this tucked away cafe and have had good experiences there before, and the staff were lovely. But in this economy if we’re paying for a one-off treat it has to be worth it. As we’re up so frequently, this could have been somewhere we would spend a lot of money over the years but now we won’t bother.

Perhaps our expectations were a little high considering the reviews on here, but we had a very disappointing lunch at Fuchsia. We waited an hour for our food, which was just a Welsh rarebit and a goats cheese salad. After some time my husband had gone past the point of hunger, so we asked for his salad to be cancelled, only to be informed that it was currently being plated up. He still declined but I was very hungry at this point, so decided to continue with my order. Then (considering the salad was supposedly being plated up) I had to wait a further 10 minutes for not one, but two rarebits to arrive! I had only ordered one. It was fortunate that the further one had been made as the portion was so small that I ate both. Upon payment, it was the staff’s attitude that led to this review. Not at any point in ordering, or thereafter, were we informed that there would be a wait for food, and the server’s response was that they were understaffed and only had a small kitchen. I fail to see how this is the customer’s fault or that makes it acceptable to wait so long without any communication. What made matters worse was that they tried to make us to pay for 2 rarebits, when only 1 had been ordered, because “we still had it”. Really poor attitude and overall customer service. I’m surprised this is rated so highly.

Went for lunch with the wife. I asked for the soup of the day which was leek & potato as we were in Wales. This was advertised on a few chalkboards spread around the place only to be told the soup wasn't available. This was 1pm and not the end of the day. As an alternative I had the spiced pulled pork sandwich which to be fair was quite tasty, but expensive at £12.50. As we were in Wales my wife chose the Welsh rarebit which sounded delicious. However, what turned up at the table was far from it. A small thin slice of toasted sourdough with no visible evidence (or taste for that matter) of thick Welsh cheddar or gained mustard as described. A garnish of dry lettuce leafs and a chopped radish with a few drops of balsamic vinegar I believe. They had the nerve to charge just under £9 for this which was extremely poor value. I cant remember last time I didn't leave a tip when eating out but this didn't deserve one. I do feel sorry for the young waitress as her service deserves better but if this is the normal standard of food served up, she won't be retiring anytime soon on tips received. Won't be visiting again!

My friend and I booked a table for a Saturday morning as, being local, we knew how busy Tenby gets on a Saturday in July. However, when we arrived we were turned away and told that there was no table reserved for us as they hadn't had a free one, even though 2 tables had vacated in the time we were stood waiting to be greeted. I would now never go back. What is the point of calling 4 days prior to reserve a table to be turned away? I work in hospitality and it takes 30 seconds to inform other guests that you'd need a table back by a certain time. Restaurants are too busy looking after holiday visitors that the locals who support small businesses through the winter months get taken for granted.

Have had good food there previously so four of turned up for breakfast, inside there were three or four empty tables but we were told they were reserved and we’d have to sit outside. Sat outside, then took that that table wasn’t owned by them and only round tables were theirs, but no spaces for four there. So with the inside empty we had to go somewhere else. Then on Wednesday afternoon we called in to book a table for 9am the next day only to be told that ‘they do not accept reservations, it’s just arrive and get a table’! We questioned that based on our experience trying to get in on Sunday. Told definitely NO RESERVATIONS. Hmm. Inconsistencies or something. So Fushia has the biggest of thumbs down for lying or having inconsistent policies. Never going there again. Crap service in trying to simply get served, so they must have too much business and not want customers.

A pleasant looking, tucked away cafe that appeared promising for my friend and I to have lunch before a leisurely walk around Tenby. However our plans were spoilt be finding Fuchsia cafe was staffed by poorly trained youngsters. Our order for 2 drinks, 2 lunches taken straight away. After waiting 30 mins we asked after our drinks, a hot chocolate and can of lemonade. The waitress apologised and said she had put the order in. Drinks soon appeared with an apology and a promise that they would not be charged for. This was appreciated and we consoled ourselves that everywhere has off days. However it was another 25 mins before our meals arrived. The cafe was not very busy and I counted at least 4 members of staff. So why such a wait I do not know. But sadly it was not really worth the wait. I had scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and avocado on sourdough toast - not a complex dish. It was a good portion but toast was cold. My friend ordered the special, chicken and gammon pie with mash. She declined the gravy. What arrived was a nice looking (and tasty pie) sat on a tiny portion of lumpy, dry mash. No garnish, so poor presentation. Mash appeared to scrapings from the pan or a scooped out jacket potato with no cream or butter. This dish was £11.00!!! By the time we left we had to dash a quick circuit around the town and return to car park before our parking ticket expired. A very disappointing end to what had begun brilliantly with a glass workshop around the corner which was absolutely fantastic. More staff training and kitchen preparation required at this venue.

Really sorry to say this visit was a complete let down. Firstly we waited over an hour for our food, the waitress was very apologetic but when you have a hungry baby it was hard to keep entertained. Luckily she did bring the sandwiches out for them before our food as she could see how long we had waited. On arrival the special was spicy carrot soup, which actually wasn’t available as we were told that she didn’t have time to make it. Ok fair enough..next option 3 bean quesadilla..waitress comes back out and apologises and explains that’s also not available. The only other option I fancied was the chickpea pie but it was underwhelming. This was my birthday celebration which left me very disappointed, despite all the reviews. I doubt I’d make the effort and return.

What an amazing little find. Tucked away off the main streets of Tenby, it is decorated beautifully and thoughtfully and the food is fantastic not to mention excellent value for money. The service is friendly and helpful I would 100% recommend.

Spot on all round. I am a vegetarian and not a particularly easy one - I normally need to ask for a tweak with a meal. The team at Fuchsia went above and beyond, asked good questions to get things just right and my sandwich and my wife's soup were amazing. Coffee and hot ginger and apple lovely as well. Great service, great food and neatly done. Well done Fuchsia.

We saw the Fuschia sign for breakfast on the street which was very helpful or we wouldn't have walked down into the gorgeous courtyard. It looked very inviting. We asked for a table for 3 and was told to chose where we sat. The waitress made you feel relaxed. Our order was taken promptly which was great. It wasn't a long wait until the food arrived which was lovely full welsh breakfasts, great quality and very tasty. We both ordered lattes which came in really nice large cups and both my partner and i both said almost at the same time oh my god this is lovely, was lovely and hot, had a gorgeous flavour, had a creamy feel, it also looked great with leaf patterns in the froth. The best Latte we have ever had! As i was paying I gave my compliments to the lady barista who's name was Izzy, she mentioned she hadnt been making the hot drinks for long, so hats off to her as we were very impressed and she deserved a mention. We had a great experience at Fuschia Tenby and went away feeling full and satisfied. Thanks Fuschia, The Cecchetto Hopkins Family xx

Great atmosphere, decor and music. Vegan and Welsh breakfasts were both delicious. Vegan sausage was the nicest I've ever tasted. It was lovely to be able to have extra mushrooms instead of avocado too. Tea was served in a thermal pot so it stayed hot for ages. Well done all, two very satisfied customers.
