We went to the Hope & Anchor both nights of a two night stay and thoroughly enjoyed the seafood section of the menu. The restaurant was fairly quiet being off-season therefore service was exceptionally fast. Definitely worth a revisit next time we are down there.

Very friendly staff and nice food. Also served locally brewed beer which was great! Located centrally.

We called into the hope and anchor for Sunday lunch today and it was lovely. Everything was flavourful and plenty of it. I had the lamb and hubby had the beef both very tasty. The bonus was they allowed the dog inside with us 😀🐶

Arrived in Tenby late afternoon- looking for an early evening no frills meal. Got more than we hoped for. Excellent meal - Welsh lamb soup (which could have been a main course) as a starter followed by 'moules' and Sea Bass. Good service and a full bar - surprising for winter here.

Having just come off the beach after a long walk with my cousin we took advantage of the amazing location of this pub (50 metres from Tenby harbour and Castle beach). Keen for a light lunch the Cawl totally suited our requirements. Tasty, hot and hearty served with crusty homemade roll and slice of cheddar cheese- highly recommended. With friendly... More

Visited here with a group of friends. Lovely meal, helpful friendly staff and good service. The selection of meals is varied, good choice, hot and fresh. Good value and good portion sizes. We were advised to book as it does get busy. When we popped in to book it was nice to have the option of where to sit.

There is no doubt the pub has a pleasant ambiance, we'd passed it a number of times and meant to call in for some time. So on a cold, but sunny winter's day, it was a welcome stop. We were only after a light meal and the description of the cawl on the menu seemed to fit the bill. It arrived... More

Popped in for a snack and coffee on a January Wednesday with the inlaws and my dog. Most of Tenby seemed to be closed, but the Hope & Anchor was very welcoming. Did not bat a eyelid when I was my usual awkward self and chose off menu. Always a sign the food is cooked to order. They are linked... More
