Friendly busy pub with plenty of character. Lots of real ales to choose from. One of the best in Southport.

A place to relax in. A marvelous election of real ales, wines, spirits, delicious foods, very friendly staff and even takeaway beers available if you're running out of time. .

Fantastic traditional old style pub with an ever changing great selection of ales. Lovely wood panelled rooms & friendly atmosphere. No visit to Southport should not include a visit to the Guest house.

My step mums birthday & she loves pies!!so the guest houses' home-made pies washed down with real ale was the destination of choice for a lunchtime meet . And the result was, as expected, up to standard

We went here on the recommendation of our hotel because of the choice of real ales there. The pub is very nice - almost like going back 50 years with tap room and snugs. It has a good choice of real ales and has different ones on each time.
