Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Been here before and got a decent meal friendly staff. Unfortunately this was not the case this time. Staff curt and down right rude. Ordered pensioners meals got grisly mince and stodgy dumplings. The pudding was cornflake tart. This had been microwaved so pastry was...soggy. The older male server was just rude and not interested. The toilet was dirty and when reported staff just shrugged. The car park spaces are very tight but this doesn’t really matter as was empty probably due to the quality of the food.More

Popped in for lunch and breakfast as we were staying in the Glamping pods, amazing food, so much choice on the menu, and that’s not including the sweet treats selection on offer as well! Staff were really friendly and accommodating.

My wife and i ordered two pensioners meals. She had egg and chips which was one very small overcooked egg and about sixteen oven cooked chips. I had ham, egg and chips which was one very small overcooked egg and one very small piece of...ham and about sixteen oven cooked chips. The sweet of ginger sponge and custard was very nice. The main meals let the visit down and certainly deteriorated from previous visits.More

Stopped off foe a snack today. Lots of people enjoying food but still a few tables available. The Toffee Crisp cheesecake was amazing and my husband really enjoyed his sausage sandwich. Brilliant place with so much home made food.

We called here for lunch on way home from a roadtrip, 1st time visiting and very impressed, good selection of meals on the menu including a senior citizen special menu, i went for the corned beef pie, which was huge and my parents went for...the mince and dumplings, with sponge pudding and custard for sweet. Large helpings provide great value for money, cafe was busy when we called, and the food is delicious, now i know why the carpark is always full of carsMore

We were a party of 8, and we had booked as the Cafe is very popular and gets very busy. The food was well cooked, hot and plentiful, 1 had Scampi, 2 people had Beef and the rest had turkey. We were given lots of...extra gravy and plenty of sauces. The beef was so tender, it melted in the mouth. Several of us had puddings. Fabulous service nothing was too much trouble.More

There was ample room for car parking. We did not book a table but I think it will be advisable when the weather is warm and dry as the cafe is at the side of a main holiday route. The staff were friendly and helpful....We were allocated a table by a waiter who took our drink and meal orders. The drinks soon arrived. Our order was for the small breakfast meal. I was surprised how quickly we received our meals I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. There was a steady trickle of visitors many ordered the small breakfast. I noticed glamping sites at the back of the cafe.More

After an initial disappointment elsewhere, we ate brunch here. I chose my own item by item and my wife likes her bacon butty. The fried bread is amazing and the beans bacon eggs and sausage were just wonderful. No nonsense food. Recommend.

We have eaten at the cafe previously & were quite satisfied. Obviously been lots of investment in the site ,Glamping etc ,which is a good facility with ample parking. On Arrival we were met at the door by young man who advised which table was...vacant.Req training as a greeter ie social skills. Menu presentation different from previously plus specials. We ordered 2 small Sunday lunches & the counter staff member tried to charge for large! ,again no social skills!! If you choose to work in a service workplace you need to converse The lunch arrived minus roast pots & parsnips as advertised!! I asked for & had to wait but never received parsnips.Peas cold & undercooked & meal generally lukewarm temperature. Not impressed ,not a friendly atmosphere as previously & I suspect a change of Ownership or Management.Lot of Staff but lack of Welcome. Disappointed ,most definitely & sad that this cafe has been rebuilt & is located in a great spot for business but no Feel Good factor!!!More

Apologies I have only just seen this. Yes we are open seven days a week every week. Exceptions are Christmas and Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. They are the only three days we close.
