The place is very clean and very English! Great food. Reminds me of the Pubs in 1980's. Sitting in side or out you can't beat the atmosphere. Must try when near The Marriott at Heathrow airport.

Slowly cooked in a clay bowl exactly like my old grandmother did done it. Lot of space and in this 800 years pub and restaurant the owner is a fabulous guy.

The Pheasant is a great, well presented pub, with generous food portions. You can order food at the kitchen window but then you must re-que for the bar. It's a very popular place, so getting a larger family seat is difficult.

Food is average. Drinks are expensive. Not enlightened seating. No music is played at all. Bar area is quite small. Staff aren't happy or welcoming.

Family friendly. That's a joke. Turfed me and my family out. Children 16/18 years old. Shocked.

You would have to a bus there. It is not in walking distance. Or get a taxi. Or it is 35 mins walk.
