I had the chicken satay which I could tell was home made with fresh ingredients. It was lovely. Quirky layout inside with quick service. Staff were friendly with everything bring reasonably priced. Looked like this place was popular for dinner. I would come here again.

Had lunch today and I can honestly not fault it. Fixed price menu £17.50 for 3 course and coffee. All our food was top notch as was the service. Really enjoyed everything and booking again. Loved it

Family outing after daughter's graduation was a complete success. Service was excellent, food first class and ambience was great. Obviously a well managed and popular local diner and pub.

Decided to eat here with my inlaws tonight and must admit the food, service and overall experience was superb! The fish and chips were Devine. The fish was exceptionally fresh. Succulent steak pie and very a tasty chicken satay with proper 'fluffy' rice. We would encourage people to visit - We will defo be returning. A+++

The quirky-but-cosy interior and attentive-but-discreet service boded well, but the excellent food really sealed the deal. The menu is rich with choice - the vegetarian selection is particularly varied - and the presentation of the delicious food inventive and attractive. Servings are generous - watch out for that family-sized bowl of fries! - and the overall ambiance of the place... More

The food here was a little more than your average pub fare. The menu limited but interesting. We shared a platter to start, the only downside to the evening with a kind of spam as one of the meats. The main courses were excellent and the range of gins very comprehensive. The staff were *lovely* and the setting busy but... More

Popped in while visiting Stirling, good food, good service, good value, there is not a lot you can add to that.

An award winning restaurant situated in the green and pleasant village of Causewayhead in Stirling, The Birds and The Bees is a dining room built around a passion for food. Located in an old one story whitewashed farmstead, The Birds and The Bees proudly displays its rusticity, with cartwheels on the outside walls, a choice of two beer gardens and exposed brick and open fires aplenty inside. The result is a cosy and warm, the lighting kept low and an eclectic mix of old and new decorative touches providing character and a talking point too. As an informal wine-bar and bistro, The Birds and The Bees has an informal atmosphere matched by the menu, a tempting collection of dishes both locally and internationally influenced, all using locally sourced produce wherever possible. The kitchen staff really care about the food theyre cooking, evidenced by not only the high level of flavour in their homecooked dishes but also in the careful, attractive presentation of every plate. Drink options include a great many carefully selected wines as well as excellent ales and lagers on tap.
