Visited with the kids on a wet day, made to feel welcome, only wanted a simple soup and sandwich lunch and was not disappointed. Menu looked decent for an evening meal some time in the future.

This was a warm and inviting place for a meal. The food was grate pub food that was done right. The service was good very happy staff that was always happy to help. The Decore of the pub was lovely it looks like it has been well looked after with a very modern feel mixed with a old building, you... More

We went as a group of 20 and everyone really enjoyed their meal. It's typical pub grub fare and obviously all home made. I had the mushrooms which were fresh and had a very crisp coating. The steak pie was gorgeous, tender meat, rich tasty gravy and crisp pastry. The vegetables were nicely cooked as well. The fish and chips... More

Reasonable price, average quality, large enough portions, typical pub food with varied menu. Friendly, polite staff.

My wife had the hunter's chicken burger and the bun had been burnt black and scraped off then the chicken was cold and raw. The waitress apologised and offered to replace it, my wife's new burger was delivered after the rest of had finished eating. There was no offer of a discounted meal and when I paid they said "apart... More

We were in Bridge of Allan for the day and - oh no - our favorite lunch spot was temporarily closed for remodeling. We wandered down the street and chose to eat at The Westerton Arms. It is a classic pub with emphasis on the restaurant, housed in an historic building with a quirky floor plan. Our food, including dessert,... More

Went in for a quick lunch got a nice surprise when greeted by the fresh faced staff and quirky style of the building it has a very relaxing feel about it. The burger was juicy with fresh salad and the batter was perfect on the onion rings couldn't fault it. Defiantly will be back sooner than later

Popped in for tea with daughter and grandson and boy what a let down. Pastry on steak pie was that crumbly it was inedible and myself and daughter had what should have been full tailed scampi but was just empty shells. Refunded 1 bottle of beer as compensation..never use again

Steak pie was a little disappointing; pastry crumbled and was absorbed by the gravy, not much flavor to the steak although it melted in your mouth and the veg was hard. Sticky toffee pudding was the highlight of our dinner it was amazing. Service was a little slow and the conservatory was cold but the restaurant seemed busy and the... More
