Home like food, away from home

Very good and delicious home like food outside Glasgow. Loved their Saag paneer, got me mouth watering. Definitely would recommend and would visit again.

Second visit, food lovely as before.

Last time wee visited our friends had the leg of lamb which was huge. Unfortunately not available this time so three of us shared the lamb shank and a small chicken curry and this was more than enough.. Another had the chicken tikka which I...tried and it was lovely.More

Delicious food but does not make up for the poor service unfortunately☹

We ordered a takeaway from Greengates, we were advised that it would take 1hr to 1hr 10 minutes maximum. After 1 hr 30 minutes we chased it up and were told it was on its way and we we're next. Another 45 minutes later it...arrived. So 2 hrs 15 minutes it took for delivery and we live close to the restaurant. The food arrived hot and was very tasty but after waiting over 2 hours I suspect anything would have tasted good!!More

Brilliant food and service, only one thing

Very happy with the food, it was brilliant. The service was great and the setting to. It was well priced and overall good value for money. Highly recommend you try. However the only thing that let it down was the fruit flies outbreak which pestered...me throughout my meal.More

Amazing food

Amazing food. Authentic Indian best dish on the menu is paneer butter! Welcoming staff who always remember us when we go. Nothing is ever to much bother for them. We love going here it’s our go to restaurant for a lovely meal.

Real concerns over food safety

This was such a disappointing experience. The food was bland and over-salted, the staff were dressed in their own clothes and don’t look at all professional. Worryingly, one member of staff was laying out cutlery holding the eating part of the knives and forks. And...worst of all, as we left, we noticed an open kitchen door with raw chicken tikka on skewers laying against the door and sitting on an upturned white catering bucket - storing chicken like this leaves it open to contamination by flies and other animals as well as ensuring it sits in a very dangerous ambient temperature. I implore this restaurant to review their food safety procedures before someone gets really sick.More

Great restaurant

Food always delicious - whether it's takeaway or sit it. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend - and well worth a 40 mile round trip into Stirling for us!
