Had Empire State Burger - best Wetherspoons food I've had, tasty and good portion. Decent service. Several tables not cleared of used plates etc. Good atmosphere on Wednesday evening.

You know what you are getting in a Spoons and this is no different. Good beer & average food but at a good price. Staff were polite and helpful too. My only gripe is the poor wifi in here for a pub that relies on...customers using the app it really needs to improve as it took me ages for my iPhone X to get my first order in and I very nearly walked out because of this.More

A server spat in my drink and called me a dyke. Sad to see that people still act like this. Don't come here if you're LGBTQ+ or just expect human decency.

Met a friend for a catch up and drinks, midweek afternoon, nice atmosphere, half full. Friendly staff, cheap prices as expected from Wetherspoons, I had BBQ spare ribs to eat and could fault, excellent meal, great value. We will return

Visited this Witherspoon's in Pontypridd (The Tumble) at 1.30pm on Wednesday 4/08/2021 Was shocked to see a pile of dirty used meal dishes on the bar (who knows what the condition in the kitchen was) this put me off eating there. Waited for table service,...never got served, no menu's on the table a terrible experience. Wife and myself left there and went on to another Witherspoon's, and what a difference we experienced lovely time there. I would put it down to a very poor manager at The Tumble. And that comes from someone who has been in the pub trade for 30 year's.More

A very nice way to start the day. First time to order by the app. which was easy. Our freshly cooked breakfast and tea as delivered within 5 minuted. Our table was looked after by Jade and James both were professional and great employees. WELL...DONE PONTYPRIDD.More

Met friends for lunch, first time in forever. The rain was torrential as we huddled under a canopy. Staff couldn't do enough to help as they battled the terrible weather carrying food and drinks, ensuring customers had everything they need. Hot chocolate is now available...for free refills. ThankyouMore

I don't like ordering on the app but i guess covid times dictate for now. Although the meal for 3 of us was quickly served there were a couple of issues, Firstly what happned to the generous portion so scampi they used to provide? I'm...sure there used to be 10 or 12 pieces but now there are only 8 & i didn't see price drop for this. On the way to the table 1 was dropped off the plate by the waitress who said 'i'll get another' but she never did. There was no tartare sauce with the meal & we weren't asked if there was 'anything else' that i can recall. It was a reasonable meal but the chicken was quite dry. You can't really argue with the prices overall though i guess.More

Visited from Friday lunch time and stayed all afternoon. Decent size crowd and good atmosphere. Draft real ales were excellent and tremendous value for money. Friendly bar staff. Toilets could do with a clean and air fresheners.
