The most unwelcoming pub I have ever stepped in. The owner’s customer service skills resembles something from a Dickensian novel - Mr Bumble springs to mind when I asked for some tap water. Some members of my family had already bought drinks and we were...More

This is a nice pub but the bar was quite unfriendly with people staring quite rudely. It felt like we may have been sitting in 'someones seat'. The lounge area was better and the bar staff were nice tho.

Went into the Royal Oak, my wife and I had the home made pie with real chips. They swapped peas for beans on mine, the food is absolutely stunning. Home made pie, melt in your mouth and real chips. Highly recommended and I’m fussy

After a morning walking on the beach and a good pub meal was on the cards. All three of us had basket meals at £6.00 each. Cod bite and chips and chicken and chips. Basic but tasty. Dog friendly in the bar.
