An excellent find overall. Good food and well kept cask beer, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and dog friendly rather than dog tolerant. The roast beef lunch was excellent. One little thing, get some decent strong English mustard please!

We enjoyed a hearty meal in the Middleton Arms on a cold, wintry night. Mince and doughballs for hubby, pheasant casserole for me. Delicious food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. Everything you need from a village pub.

This is a lovely drinking pub with a very basic menu and food cooked traditionally. The steak was pretty inedible but the rest of our parties meals were reasonable. Not the best food and more of a drinking, darts and cards pub for old men....More
