We had Saturday lunch at the White Horse Farm Inn a couple of weeks ago. As usual the beer was excellent, service very friendly and our meals appeared promptly. I had the lamb which was tasty, my wife thoroughly enjoyed the liver. My son had the steak pie which he said was very good. The inn is being redecorated and... More

the hotel has stunning views, and is ideal for walkers with or without dogs, as the hotel is dog friendly! Great Beer and wines!

We went for a evening meal, it was horrible. There was little choice and what was there was tasteless and unpleasant. The portions were large and the service was excellent but the prawn cocktail tasted of tissue paper in a mixture of salad cream and ketchup. The scampi was tasteless and over cooked and the lasagne was nasty.

Ate in the Restaurant which was very pleasant. The landlord and chef very kindly agreed to make a bespoke curry for my other half and brought out tasters for her to choose the strength etc. - above and beyond the call of duty. I demolished a pie and the accompanying potatoes and veg were lovely. Very hospitable and enjoyed the... More

There is something wonderful about walking into a real log fire on a cold November evening, not only is the pub very welcoming the food which on the surface looks like good honest pub grub is absolutely raising the bar! I would HIGHLY recommend eating here.

Very good food/value stay, but only went because the area is so good and the nearby Lion Inn at Blakey was as usual fully booked. However we will return! (is this a threat!!)

Came here after recommendations from a local b and b in the area and wasn't let down. The food and service was nice, the staff were friendly and had a nice atmosphere. The food was lovely just wish there was more choice on the menu that we was given.
