My husband and I had the most delicious meal for our 4th wedding anniversary. Genuinely the nicest meal out I have had in a long time. Delicious home cooked food at its finest! Welcoming, relaxed and friendly - we would highly recommend!

Just had an absolutely brilliant Sunday lunch after a nice walk in Knole Park. Catered for children brilliantly, and such great service.

I love a roast and this pub does a great one. Helen the landlady made us so welcome and really looked after us. Great varied menu, we ordered all the starters to share between us all and they were delicious. The roast beef was succulent...and juicy, and the roast potatoes were as good as I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back. I can’t recommend enough.More

We picked the Buck's Head because it was rated #1 of pubs in Sevenoaks. We had never been before & arrived for a lateish lunch following an appointment at the Medical Centre. We were warmly greeted by 2 charming ladies who indicated where we could...sit, produced the drinks we ordered & advised that there might be a bit of a wait for food. When it came it was - quite simply - wonderful. One pie and fish & chips could not have been hotter nor more perfectly coooked. We were dismayed to learn that the current owners are retiring to Crete in May which will probably mean that the new encumbents will 'upgrade', 'improve' & probably ruin what is currently an old pub, full of character. Our advice would be to get there as quickly as you can & as often, between now and mid May, to experience a countryside pub with good food & great atmsophere - just as they should be. We wish all concerned, well in their new ventures.More

We had a really good lunch here today. The owner is very friendly, and the food is just that bit different from ordinary pub food. Prices very reasonable, too, I can see why it is No1 in the Sevenoaks region.
