We had a first class meal last Tuesday evening. All four of us had different starters and main course and all were delicious. I decided to try something different from my usual choice and the Seafood ravioli followed by fish curry was delicious. My son has a. Salt intolerance and the waitress couldn't have been more helpful The cafe gourmand,... More

The menu of the day which we had for lunch today was tasty and well cooked. I was actually quite surprised that this menu did not have more fish options on it but I suppose that was good news for people that did not want to choose all fish. We started with sprats which were lightly coated and lightly cooked,... More

We went on a Monday night and disappointingly about a quarter of the menu wasn't available. Service was fine but our main courses were a little slow. Some of the dishes were delicious (cataplana special) although others (seafood pasta) a little bland. Generally it was a decent meal although the place is a little uninspiring/lacking in atmosphere for an evening... More

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to apologise for the issues with service that you experienced. I am reviewing our ordering levels to prevent issues with menu availability in future. However I’m very glad you enjoyed the Cataplana, it is proving very popular! I hope you will try us again, I’m confident you will notice an improvement next... More

Four of us had dinner here on Monday night. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food was very good and the service couldn't have been better. They were friendly and helpful as well as reassuringly professional. The menu contained some new surprises such as oysters with tequila and lime which was a new idea to us but a really delicious taste... More

Good food although descriptions on spice and heat in a couple of dishes could do with expanding. Service although fun was very lacking in actually being served. Had to chase up drinks not once but twice. Not really understandable when the restaurant only had 3 tables in use. I would hope this was down to team training We will give... More

4 of us and a mix of food selected. Collective view was that food was good but surprisingly perhaps for a sea food restaurant the desserts were the best part of the meal.

What a wonderful meal our family had on Sunday. It's nice to see a warm and friendly new manager at this restaurant. I was surprised she was actually serving tables, I assume due to being under staffed but, she did this with a smile. At last, I think this restaurant is turning a corner. Keep up the good work and... Loch Fyne proved once again that it is a safe option offering decent food at reasonable prices. It has been some time since we ate here and there has been some significant changes. The emphasis is still obviously on fish but they have removed some of the stalwarts and replaced them with interesting variations. Still very good

Great start to Fathers Day with the family. I had the egg florentine, my partner had the full Scottish & my dad couldn't keep away from the kippers. The manager Natasha couldn't have been more amazing. She was knowledgable & made us feel incredibly welcome even with the quirky eating requirements of some of the younger family members! Wonderful food,... More
