We go to Bangor every year and we always find Jenny Watt's to be the best pub in town that gives value for money. The pub is lovely. Very old fashioned with an open fire and lots of old photos on the wall. It's a lovely setting! The food is delicious. I went for the Steak & Guinness Pie. It... More

Jenny's is an old favourite for lunch. Been here countless times now and never left hungry or disappointed. The staff are great. Be careful if there is rugby on as apparently as we found out you can book a table just for drinks if the rugby is on, and the tables are all occupied. A pub where you can book... More

Looking for somewhere to take visitors to NI who wanted to experience an Irish pub so after reading tripadvisor reviews we choose Jenny Watts on a Wednesday evening when there was to be music. The food was delicious and plentiful, staff were very pleasant and service was speedy and the general atmosphere really good. The music began just after 9pm... More

Called in for Sunday Lunch and we got a table within 5 minutes. Ordered our meal and it was served promptly and by the very pleasant supervisor "Maggie". Both our meals were excellent, plenty of meat, potatoes and veg which were delicious. The athomosphere overall was very good and all staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.... Wonderful atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. The food is great and you won't leave hungry. Open coal fire just gives this place the edge over others.

Twice lately we had Sunday lunch and the food was served cold. My chicken was dried up and tough. We never go in until after 3pm when that noisy racket of a Jazz band has stopped as it's difficult to make conversation when they're blasting out sounds. So perhaps the meals are cooked earlier and then after 3pm they've cooled... More
