The menu choices were varied and enticing. The service was very good being attentive whilst discreet. The food was well cooked, well presented and tasty. It was pleasantly quiet and relaxed. I would certainly consider eating here again.

A short walk from Banchory we had dinner here. It was good and the service was good. Just all felt a wee bit too formal and stuffy for us I am afraid.

Was expecting far better fare when we heard the hotel had been taken over by those who run Kildrummy Inn where the food was of excellent quality. Unfortunately not so. Very average and nothing to praise. Won’t be back.
