I visited Ty Hwnt for tea and as usual the food was excellent and have no complaints. However my husband and I were very very disappointed that the waitresses greeted us with no masks on and with notices round the cafe saying masks should be...More

We opted to share a Welsh afternoon cream tea for £17 which was very pleasant. The flapjack was very sweet and I wish that serving squirty cream or butter with scones was made illegal - where was the clotted cream? :( Staff was wonderful, really...More

Delicious homemade cakes and Welsh cakes. Beautiful view of the river and bridge. Friendly staff. Nice and relaxing place to have a rest.

On a lovely sunny day we visited this famous tourist spot for some tea and scones. We decided to sit in their awning covered area at the rear of the café. Covid rules were being followed and names and phone numbers taken. We ordered tea...More

We had take away scones which were very good. Take away service was from a hatch on the side of the building. Picturesque setting.

The location and look of this place is gorgeous, really stunning on a sunny morning. However we had been craving warm scones with 'proper' jam and cream and were disappointed to find cold fruit scones with whipped cream. The service was great, location lovely and...More

This place looks amazing but didn't live up to expectations in terms of service or food. The only exception was the scones, which were actually very good. The sandwiches were over priced though and underwhelming. I had the Welsh Cheddar Sandwich, which was two pieces...More
