A group of 20 friends - we booked for a private dinner upstairs. Everything was faultless - the room and table all beautifully set, service was very professional, somehow Laurent knew precisely when anyone needed anything, the food was timed to perfection with a great...choices of dishes. No pre-ordering was required and portions for all 3 courses were generous and delicious. The whole evening was such a success, we are hoping to make it an annual event and look forward to doing it all again ! Thank you to Lindsay and her wonderful team.More

Having eaten at Chez Lindsay a number of times we used their function room to host our wedding party for dinner. There were 18 of us and Lindsay provided us with an excellent choice of food and wine from her menu just for us. We...had numerous chats about which food we wanted to offer our guests and the best wine for those choices and of course champagne to start with. The function room was nicely decorated and every one of our guests loved the food and the entire setup. The staff were very efficient and courteous and we just didn't want to leave. We now have to find another occasion to use the function room as hopefully not getting married again anytime soon,More

We would certainly go again. This is a Breton restaurant, so a focus on savoury Galettes and sweet crepes (ie Pancakes either savoury or sweet) which make for a very pleasant cost-effective meal in a French environment. Also, staff were friendly and attentive even though...we were the last customers of the evening. And wonder of wonders nowadays, the music and customer overall volume was gentle, allowing for restful conversation.More

Best French restaurant I’ve ever visited in London. Welcoming and efficient staff. Great wine menu. Delicious food. The sea bass and Normande pancake were stand outs.

I keep coming back to Chez Lindsay for the innovative menu and attentive staff. In addition to galettes and crepes from the Breton region of Northern France, the menu blends the familiar with eclectic offerings that offer a unique twist of complex flavors. Highly recommended...for both conservative and adventurous palettes.More

Food good but and its s big but, reserved in advance for birthday, on arrival booking non existent. Advised allowed 2 hours but after only 2 hour furniture was moved around us for a funeral party to arrive later. We were in the middle of...our main course. Noisy, not polite and lacking in any customer service. Booked another restaurant the following week to compensate for dismal birthday.More

This review is very distressing for a restaurant which places great importance on never hurrying guests out. Whereas many establishments put a time limit on their tables of 1 hour 45 minutes or 2 hours, Chez Lindsay’s policy is not to do so unless the...More

This is a really special place and we were wondering why it has us taken so long to actually try it: Usually it's full when we walk past! It was also fully booked the Friday evening a few weeks ago but this time we had...booked in advance because my wife had won a generous voucher that Chez Lindsay had donated to a local cause - it was fittingly the first prize. And halfway through our meal I said to my wife that I wanted to pay and just return the voucher: I really felt they more than deserved paying, it is such a thoroughly enjoyable experience from the way you are treated, to the ambiance, to the food (of course). It's very good value, too. They insisted on us keeping the voucher and returning to spend it next time which we will - for my birthday this coming week! This time the whole family. I think this restaurant could become our go-to for all special occasions.More

This is a fabulous find in the middle of Richmond. My friend and I ate there this week on a weekday evening. We had fish entrees, which were both perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Excellent ambience, and wonderful service....Will definitely return to this gem.More

We dined at Chez Lindsay a second time this summer and again, we had a wonderful time, accentuated by the fact that the proprietor (Lindsay) is so attentive to her diners. We tried another fish dish this time -- and it was at least as...good as the fantastic fish we ate during our last visit. Bravo, LindsayMore

Service was very slow. We booked our table for 7:30 - we didn’t get our starter til 8:20 and our main course nearer 9pm. The starter was escargot which was dry and the main course of Gillette was doughy and the fish was dry. In...all, the meal was tasteless and bland. Being a local, I have visited this restaurant on numerous times in 40years and this was a bad dining experience. Won’t come here again . Our wine was comp’d - but sad that we’ve lost a good French restaurant in the area.More
