I came here with my Swiss partner for a breakfast for her birthday. She (and I) were incredibly impressed with the café complet which was great value, beautifully presented and very tasty. After lots of great breads cheeses and pastries,we took some cakes home and loved them. The staff are really friendly, not only remembering my name from the reservation but also coming over to talk to us and asking if everything was OK various times. Would highly recommend and definitely worth the trip from SE15!

Swiss Bakery has opened! Living in the area for some 20 years and having seen different iterations of German Bakeries in the spot on the little parade this is a real jump in quality, great personal service and new choice for fantastic freshly baked bread. The friendly Swiss Owners - super correct and Corona save - told us that they will also open for some dining and cheese fondue options later this year...once times are better. Go for the sourdough bread and the quiches!

The Swiss Bakery is no doubt the best bakery in London. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are very friendly and always have time for a chat. From their humble beginnings at the start of lockdown, with just a table in front of the shop selling just bread and drinks (it wasn’t “just” bread, delicious bread, ranging from plain, tasty, traditional bread to olive bread, which speaks for itself) to a fully decorated shop with a very jolly Swiss vibe. Their spätzli noodles and bacon among other things stand out from the small wagon of goods in the corner of the shop. Every dish on their menu is scrumptious and made with love by the chefs, who are the people behind the scenes that make the whole thing work. The owner, Tanya, is particularly friendly as me and my mum are loyal customers and have been going since the first few weeks of the bakery. The ability to please my young, fussy mouth is incredible and would completely recommend. If it’s your first time going be sure to get yourself a hot drink as they are extremely tasty, and the chocolate cake (if they aren’t sold out already) as it is probably the best food item in the world. Even though it is very easy to spend £20 and over, it is completely worth it!

This is a lovely cafe hidden in the back streets of Ham, but well worth a visit. The cafe is open everyday and whilst you can purchase an array of cakes, pastries (both sweet and savoury) the kitchen closes at 2pm for cooked food. The reason for this is that the bakery prides itself on preparing good quality fresh food everyday on the premises. I just missed the deadline but they did make me a wonderful swiss cheese toastie. I will have to return in order to try the Flammkechen or the chicken schnitzel but that's ok. I hear that they even do cheese fondue in the winter. The coffee is extremely good and the water, flavoured with mint and lemon is free to help yourself to. The cakes all look delicious and on Saturdays they have a bigger selection than other days. The kitchen closes at 1.30pm on Saturdays so get there in plenty of time. The staff were friendly and helpful and they place was sweetly decorated. I definitely will be back based on today's visit. Dog friendly too for those who are out and about with their pooches.

Finding a slice of Switzerland in Richmond was a delight. We have been popping in to collect bread, buns, pastries and more for a couple of years now and always make sure to have a Flammkuchen while we are there. While looking at the deli trying to decide what to try or sitting in the café eating the delicious food, you experience the joy of listening to the staff and customers speak Swiss-German, it is like being on holiday without having to go quite as far. The food and service are consistently excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough. Swiss excellence at its best!

I’ve enjoyed bread from this place from time to time, but I’d never eaten there until this weekend. What a treat it was! My partner had their signature breakfast - perfectly toasted bread, creamy avocado, silky scrambled eggs and supper crisp smoked bacon. As a non meat eater I opted for a smoked salmon and cream cheese roll (the three yummy sounding hot options all involve meat). My roll was delicious - I enjoy a plain salmon and cream cheese combo, but this was elevated with supper crisp cured cucumber, a mustardy sauce, and the most stunning plaited milk bread. We accompanied our food with great coffee and hot chocolate, both served with a brownie bite on the side, and some freshly squeezed orange juice. The whole meal was perfection, made all the more delightful by the lovely staff, especially the woman who runs I thought is quite possibly the nicest person I’ve ever met. The added bonus was that we took some sweet items to take away, which we’ve been enjoying over the rest of the weekend. There is so much to choose from and everything is amazing. The only downside is how on Earth to decide what to have. I suppose we will just have to keep going back. 🎉

We discovered this wonderful bakery shortly after they opened in Ham back in March . Oh my ! It’s a little piece of heaven . The quality of their bread and other baked items is absolutely superb and the service is faultless . You can tell that this is no ordinary place by the joy the owners bring to everything they bake and the pride they take in their work . We’re so delighted that they now offer breakfasts and lunches . Worth a special trip . We so look forward to our weekend visits .

I have been meaning to try this bakery for ages. So finally I was able to. Unfortunately I had so much bread at home so couldn't buy their tempting looking loaves. I was so overwhelmed by all the amazing goodies they had on offer. However, the lady behind the till was an absolute gem, so lovely and explained everything to me, so didn't even looked frustrated at my indecision or my million questions. Anyway I purchased a Swiss chocolate croissant, an almond croissant and a honey and walnut pastry. The latter pastry was divine, something I've never tried and so moreish. However, although the almond and chocolate croissant were light and fluffy, and you can definitely taste the quality in the ingredients used, I felt that their wasn't enough filling inside, I may sound like Paul Hollywood here but I like my pastry filled completely on the inside with no gaps. Especially as it wasn't cheap. However, this place is so cute and inviting I'll definitely be back to sample their bread. I know my wasteline isn't going to thank me!

My family and I we love everything at the Swiss bakery. They are a lot of similarities into French pastry/bakery and the Swiss ones. As a frenchy I enjoy, I mean I ENJOYED every bite of the brioche, croissant, the roll one buttery pastry that we call in french Kouignaman, Forêt noire, Apple strudel , the real bread with nuts, the sandwiches with their homemade pesto such a delish. The Swiss Bakery is a must eat!

This place is exceptional! Great coffee, fantastic food and outstanding customer service. If you are not familiar with Swiss products they will happily explain what is on offer. On their recommendation I tried Flammkuchen for the first time and it is delicious - the tastiest thing I have had in a long time. Absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area, but also well worth a trip if you are not. Cannot recommend highly enough

We came here for coffee, pastries and hot chocolate immediately after an unpleasantly rude encounter with a member of staff at the German bakery near Grey Court School. Only five minutes walk away, but our experience here could not have been more different. The ladies in the shop are warm and welcoming and brilliant with children, the outdoor seating area with its sheepskins on the chairs is attractive and sunny - oh and the coffee and pastries are fab. Do yourself a favour and go straight to the Swiss Cafe, We certianly will in future!!

As a Swiss who has lived in London for 19 years, most of the time it has been impossible to buy authentically Swiss bread and other foods. I came across this place by coincidence yesterday online and decided to pay a visit. It is an absolute gem, a wide variety of cakes and breads are available, which are wonderful. I also had the pretzel and bratwurst from the lunch menu, fantastic and all freshly prepared. If you just stop in for a coffee, I would also recommend as it lives up to artisan cafe standards. Finally, I love the fact that I can get a few of my favorite Swiss goodies (Cailler chocolate, cervelat, Zweifel chips, cheese etc). It is a bit of a trek across South London for me to get to Ham/Richmond but I plan on returning on a regular basis

Half my family is Swiss, so I was looking for Swiss products on line, when this place appeared in my search, so I thought we would go and look at it, and we are glad we did, it was like being in Switzerland, the decor, Swiss products, the Swiss staff everything. You are warmly welcomed. All the hand made products are made using Swiss ingredients, and mmmmmm so delicious, if you are looking for a little piece of Switzerland in the UK, I highly recommend coming here.
