We grabbed a quick bite here before a show. We ate from the pre theatre menu which was excellent value and had a good choice. We were in and out in around an hour and did not feel rushed in the slightest. The food was good and the service friendly.

Yep. Had a great time. Amusing chat with the bloke behind the bar before my friend arrived. Fun sitting there watching him make the cocktails and drinking a couple myself. But the food was delicious. I had a pasta dish which was to die for. Best thing I have eaten for ages. My friend and I had riotous assembly and... More

I have visited Bacco now on a number of occasions. It is the perfect venue for any celebratory meal or even just casual dining. The staff are warm and welcoming, and helpful without being intrusive. The food is superb, and there is a good selection of different styles of Italian food, the wild boar Ragu is a main I always... More

My friends and I had a wonderful long lunch at Bacco yesterday. We had heard very good accounts of the restaurant and our only concern was that they did not rush us. Our wish was granted, it was a very long leisurely and relaxed lunch. The staff were attentive but not fussing over us and the food and wine were... More

Saturday evening. We sat down at the table for the first drink of the night. Three members of staff welcomed us and confirmed that they would be delighted to serve us drinks. 5 minutes later the manager advised that drinks can not be served without food... We decided to leave and have our drink in a more pleasant place...upon leaving... More

Sorry for the confusion over your visit to us - the kitchen was closed at 11pm when you came in, and unfortunately you were incorrectly told that it was too late to order drinks only. We do allow guests to enjoy a drink without food and apologise for this miscommunication. More

We came to Bacco before a performance at the Orange Tree Theatre, and enjoyed our dinner. We had the pre-theatre menu, which was good value. Our starters were the Fried Mozzarella with Chilli Jam (ok but not special) and the Meatballs in Spicy Tomato Sauce (tasty). As main courses we had the Mushroom Risotto (good) and the Guinea Fowl which... More

I went to dinner whit my friend. Good italian wine and italian cuisine difficult to find in London. Parmigiana, tagliolini with truffles and grilled fish really good. Fantastic staff. I recommend it to everybody.

We went back to Bacco with some friends this weekend for the first time since the refurb. We had a great evening. The food was as tasty as ever, the staff were very friendly and helpful - they were very patient with me when I was trying to work out which White wine I had ordered previously. It was not... More

We went yesterday and the service was very very slow. The restaurant was cold and they had the lead to a fan heater across the doorway and I nearly tripped up. I had to send back my main course as it was burnt. When they brought me a replacement the vegetables were cold and they did not offer any new... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are very disappointed that you did not enjoy your lunch at Bacco on Friday 6th January. Firstly, I do apologise about the fan heater which was on the corridor leading to the studio flats and not the restaurant. It sounds like you used the wrong door to enter the restaurant. There is occasional confusion... More
