Location and contact

The oldest pub in Richmond with bags of charm, in the centre of town just off The Green and a four minute walk from the station. Come in and discover our secret sun trap garden and roof terrace, whilst tucking into the best pub food and perfectly kept beer in Richmond! We buy our meat and fish ourselves from Smithfield and Billingsgate markets to guarantee quality and freshness. Our upstairs restaurant is fully serviced with a bar, TV screen and stereo and available for business meetings and celebrations. Dogs are welcome. Daily set menus offer great value for money and our Long Lunch Sunday, four courses including an aperitif for £23.95 Is quite simply the best deal in town. A place to relax

Went here for lunch with a friend today. It’s a beautiful old pub - cosy and welcoming. The food was excellent and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

This little pub is great. Nice decor and a nice size, it feels very small and cosy. Staff really friendly. Chargrilled veg starter was really nice. However I'd say the Sunday roast fell a bit flat. Yorkshires and stuffing were really nice, roasties overdone and...More

First visit to this place and will be recommending to friends. We ate from the set menu and had yummy food including an artichoke risotto and beetroot and goats cheese salad. The chocolate tart was also incredible. Great service and dog-friendly (bonus!)

Nice pub, nice food, nice service and nice atmosphere. But... chateaubriand sharer was an appropriate size for one person definitely not two. And at 60 quid it was stingy to only give one portion of chips and one salad between two also. Left hungry.

Over the last years I occasionally had a meal here. I love the ‚old pub‘ atmosphere combined with excellent modern food and friendly service. Today it was different: the food arrived only three quarters of an hour after ordering without any explanation; the chips accompanying...More

My first time for Sunday lunch at this Richmond classic, tucked away down a side alley leading to the Green. Tempted by the reviews and needing somewhere to meet friends for a late lunch - this was the perfect choice. It's an easy walking distance...More

Not since Jim fixed it for me to milk a cow blindfolded have I experienced such fulfilment. World class friendly service with an edge, can’t recommend highly enough.

I visited the Britannia for the first time last night and loved it! The staff were immediately welcoming and we had great service from everyone. The food was very good - I had a great risotto but I’m coming back for the fig creme brûlée...More

Hi there, We don't have parking as we are 50 yards from the green where there is plenty of metered parking available. Hope this is O.K. Please call 0208 940 9786 if we can help further. Many thanks Charles
