Came here with 11 friends as a Christmas celebration. The restaurant has a warm welcoming feel with nice decor although the toilet floor was like a skating rink so not good if you've had a few! Staff were attentive and very friendly. The menu was large and the wait not too bad at all. The only downside was the shock... More

The first impression is of a former pub that has had money well spent to make it a welcoming place to visit - and a bit more upmarket than the usual "Indian" However the service and food were no more than average - neither was remarkably good nor remarkably bad. The advantage it had was the parking which is really... More

We came here with family members to celebrate a birthday. We arrived a bit early but was able to have a drink in the small seating area whilst we waited for our family. The food and service were both very good. We did order a vegetable curry as a side order but sag aloo came out - no matter as... More

a cut above the usual indian restaurant. The food seems to be of a better quality and the service here is excellent. Also the decorative surroundings feel quite nice as opose to the more normal drab indian restaurant. OK this is not a Marco Piere White, but it is far better than most other such places (especially the other major... More

Absolutely SHOCKING! Over a two hour wait from sitting down to being served our main course! Would have got served quicker cooking it myself or nipping to a nearby takeaway!!!!! Rude staff, manager too gutless to come out & apologise. Will NEVER be visiting again!!!!!

Very attentive waiters and lovely ambiance. Food very tasty, you can always ask for a meal as you like it i.e. hotter/mild. no coriander :-) Lovely wine selection and very surprised by the new Indian SB.

Everything about the Taj Brasserie is amazing from its lovely decor, to the very attentive waiters and the menu has so much to choose from. We have had a number of dishes here as we visit as a treat every now and again. The dishes are absolutely amazing and bursting with flavour and the meat very tender and soft. We... More

My wife and I have eaten at the Taj Brasserie before and always enjoyed the food and service. Tonight was different. We booked a table and arrived on time. It took a couple of minutes before someone greeted us and then we were asked to have a seat in reception. Several groups arriving after us were seated before we were.... More

Food was average. We've been here loads of times and have definitely had better meals here. Service is over the top. We were interrupted 4 times during our main meal to ask how the food was and the waiters seem to hover over your table which is off putting! Naan bread was soggy (assuming undercooked) and curry was quite salty!... More

Ate here with friends last week following recommendations. The fact it was 7pm on a Wednesday and it was busy was a good sign. It's a lovely, very spacious restaurant with parking too. We took an age deciding what to have but had friendly, unpushy service that provided us drinks and let us girls chat away whilst we chose. We... More
