I love pizza so had been waiting to try this place which in the end was below expectation. The restaurant specializes in pizza it's all they serve bar garlic bread and dessert so with this in mind I had high hopes for a high quality...pizza. Unfortunately I have to rate it below average but I would hesitate to go so far as poor. The pizza base was painfully thin and could barely hold the modest amount of topping which seemed to really only cover a few inches around the centre. Moving away from the centre it became a bit barren until you hit the crust which is where the majority of the dough resided. It was cooked well on top but the base was still quite doughy especially the crust. It was edible nonetheless and was probably in throwing distance of a decent pizza but sadly this wasn't it and on the strength of this visit I'm not inclined to go in search of it again.More

Ordered a takeaway via UberEats from the newer base in Pottington. Arrived within the timeframe stated, nice and hot. We ordered 2 pizzas, a dip and 1 can of drink which with delivery & service fees came to just shy of £40. Decided it was...worth it to try something more gourmet than Dominoes and the speciality pizza ingredients sounded promising. The Sicilian sausage and Friarielli was just about OK - I imagine it would be really nice eaten fresh in the restaurant but the sausage was a bit greasy (and didn’t taste at all of fennel as advertised) and the friarielli was soft and watery so as a takeaway pizza the whole thing became quite soggy. The base/crust had a lot of potential but unfortunately had flecks of charred material embedded in the base - too small to brush off or pick out - and it wasn’t that the dough itself was burnt, but it had these little bits of carbon from something that had been burnt, meaning some mouthfuls were nice and others spoiled by a very bitter taste. The other pizza was the crema di zucca and nduja, which didn’t have the issue with the carbon flecks/bitterness but did also go a bit soggy. The flavours were good and strong with this one. The dip was unexciting and an absolutely tiny portion for £1.50. I did email the advertised address for the Pottington store to give feedback about the problem with the carbon, as this might have been an indication that the oven wasn’t up to temperature or hadn’t been swept after a previous pizza had been burned. This was purely to highlight the issue as it’s something easily avoided in future but got no response. Initially I was going to give the benefit of the doubt and order again at some point but for the price and lack of acknowledgment to my feedback, I don’t think I will.More

I am so sorry that we didn't live up to our, normally, very high standards. As you can see from the vast majority of our reviews, most customers are very happy with our service. This is because we take customer feedback very seriously and use...More

Stumbled on this little place by accident. Pizza was great. The owners were super accommodating and friendly. Offered to sit us inside for dessert when it started raining. Definitely recommend if.

I popped in for a bit to eat while I was passing through town and had the salame and hot honey pizza. It was delicious! The service was friendly as well. Give it a try!

We were down on holiday and I had read all the great reviews, so was really looking forward to my pizza. On the Saturday night we ordered two of their'Pig & Olive' on line. I went to collect them and was met by a member...of staff who went off to collect the pizza. I could see her moving about in the kitchen and watched her answer the phone, about five minutes later a different member of staff came out and asked if she could help. I explained what I was waiting for and she went in and came straigh out with the pizza. When we got back to house we found that a large part of the pizza base was burnt. The pulled pork that the description went into great detail about was very scarce. Very, very disappointed.More

I Agree with jeffhH655 the car park is almost right outside the entrance. It did seem like we were heading down a dead end on arrival but there was plenty of space in the car park when we got there.
