I have visited the Red lion Inn on numerous occasions and always had a pleasant experience. For that reason I was disappointed in my last experience. The restaurant was packed resulting of slow service and the quality of the food was not as good as it was previously. On the basis of this experience I would not recommend however would... More

Went for a meal here with my husband and parents while on holiday in Culross and we all loved it... So much in fact we're going back tonight! The Red Lion Inn is quite small so it's worth booking a table in advance. There's and outdoor seating area out the back where dogs are welcome. Inside the decor is quirky... More

They are the only pub in Culross (and with a nice history written on the wall by the entrance) but it is great. Super warm inside (went there in February), nice old-style decoration, surprising stuff in one of the ladies toilettes ;), very good food and variety and kind waitresses.

I have been a few times to the Red Lion and the food is always of a high quality. It's tasty high end pub grub with an extensive menu. The food is homely and delicious and there is always a good range of specials on offer. I had the nachos and the piri piri chicken which sounds fairly standard but... More

I mentioned about going for a cycle run so then my wife made me go and do it...Ended up on the Five Coastal Path and passed the Red Lion with perfect timing for lunch. A simple lunch and a welcome beer. I enjoyed the experience very much and I hope more than my wife enjoyed the peace without me !... More

Popped in for lunch on a gorgeous Wednesday after a quiet walk through the village. Standard fare in a small, quiet, wood filled room. It was warm and dated, as was the food. Staff were pleasant and everything was fine. All in all a thoroughly uninspiring dining experience. There's not much choice in the area so I guess little competition.... More

Visited here as I was on a course in the area, 18 of us were catered for very quickly with drinks and meals being ordered and delivered very quickly. The beer was great and the food ( I had a burger) was gorgeous and very filling, unusually for me I couldn't finish it. The prices were very reasonable as well.... More

Decided to go here for my birthday dinner on a Sunday. Worth booking in advance but the staff managed to find a table. There is quite an extensive food menu. The food we ordered was very nice and very big portions. I'm a craft beer enthusiast and was disappointed not to see much behind the bar but still plenty of... More
