Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After another day of breathtaking views hiking along the coast, we chanced upon this delightfully quaint looking gallery, full of David’s striking and original pastels and oils. There was a great choice of unusual cream scones, lemon with lemon curd, ginger with rhubarb and ginger homemade jam and we shall have to return on our next visit for the cheese and original versions. Delicious and such a treat to be served on Patel China on the sunspot terrace. David so friendly. It is off the beaten track, but well worth searching out.

Amazing art of pembrokeshire in an unassuming tea room. We felt welcome to roam the gallery, bought some of the homemade sweet rhubarb and ginger jam which we had tasted on our cream tea. Chatted with the artist and the chef/ gardener/ jam maker. The tea room is as lovely and inspiring as this beautiful area of pembrokeshire that he paints.

This gallery, which is a lovely small gallery on the way to Pwllgwaelod in Dinas near Fishguard, also has a tea room where you can enjoy a lite bite and, in our case, a cream tea. Choice of scones, from the original but also Lemon or Ginger. With the appropriate preserve and plenty of cream. We had a coffee and a tea.
The service was excellent and the food of a very good quality. Priced very reasonably too.
A lovely relaxing place to look at the gallery and relax over a lite bite, whether walking up down or along the Pembrokeshire coastway.

David Light is a fabulous artist and his paintings are beautiful. He has transformed a few old cottages into this amazing gallery - but this is not all.! His wife is a fantastic cook - and visitors to the gallery can sit outside and enjoy wonderful cream teas and loads of other things on their menu. Home made scones and jams and chutneys - so much choice. You will get a very friendly welcome and on a sunny day it is a heavenly place to visit.

We loved this gallery with David’s artwork. We weren’t expecting to also find something to eat, but we were prepared a very generous portion of gluten free sandwiches, and we also had a cheese scone which came with lots of lovely extras. Very reasonable pricing too.

Love this cafe and gallery. Everything I have eaten and drunk here was really good. Homemade scones are the best I've tasted, potato cakes and soup yummy. Lovely big pot of tea. Coffee good and can't go home without at least one pot of each of their delicious homemade preserves 😋

Take away cream tea (due to Covid restrictions) was delicious. Beautifully packaged with a choice of scones (ginger, lemon or plain). The finishing touch was the large perfect strawberry! Do order ahead if you can (15 mins wait) but if not, no problem as the time passes quickly as you tour the very lovely gallery.

Stumbled across this wonderful tea room and gallery. A very welcome oasis in a desert of closed pubs. David's beautiful paintings were only rivaled by the homemade rhubarb and ginger jam that set the ginger scones off to perfection. The best cream tea we've had in a long time, washed down with lashings of Welsh tea. An absolute must to visit!!

Beautiful paintings and amazing cafe. We had lunch here on a damp February day and the soup and welsh rarebit muffins were all delicious. Friendly service and excellent value for money. A real gem.

This is a fantastic little stop for light snacks and tea/coffee. We had a cream tea with a difference - ginger scones with cream and ginger jam. They were superb. The prices are very reasonable and the service was quick and very pleasant. Highly recommended stop following a hike around Dinas Island.
