His is a lovely cafe with excellent food and lovely staff and ambience. They also do outside catering at reasonable costs and stunning food. So lovely to have a lovely cafe like this locally. Excellent coffee and lovely cakes and artisan bread.

Fabulous place to stop whilst riding, stopped for coffee and cake during a cycle ride. Food and drinks came out to our table within minutes of ordering. Will be calling in again!

Visited Village Green a couple of times so far and each time have enjoyed myself immensely. Food and drink is always good (especially the coffee (latte) and the infamous courgette and lime cake!!!). Staff are always welcoming and giving that little bit extra, very good cafe, strongly recommend.

This cafe in the Square in Eyam is a complete gem. Had a totally delicious lunch there on a sunny day so we could eat outside. I had spinach and feta parcel with salad and Peter had chicken salad. Both meals were some of the tastiest we've had in a long time. The carrot cake was epic, best ever and... More

There we came upon the Village Green. I'm so glad we did. My wife had... More

I popped in yesterday for a nice pot of tea with my sister and i have to say our experience was extremely pleasant. We was served by two ladies working and they both made us feel very welcome. This is not my first visit to the village green and it certainly wont be my last. Lovely staff, excellent service, overall... More

We stopped here for lunch after a visit to the Eyam Museum, the weather was lovely so we sat outside and had a lovely view in this picturesque village as we relaxed with some really tasty food. The cafe offers a good selection including plenty of vegetarian options and caters for a gluten free diet too! We had a spinach... More

Super little cafe perfectly located in the heritage village of Eyam in the Peak District. We bake gorgeous cakes and cook tasty savouries 7 days a week for you to enjoy, using fantastic local produce. Our coffee is Fairtrade, organic and rainforest certified but above all is expertly made and tastes great, and we do our bit to maintain the superb environment we are in by recycling and encouraging less packaging for our take-aways.So pop in before or after your walk, or if you're really organised phone ahead & order a posh picnic, crammed with goodies to enjoy on your walk. We'll happily fill your flask with our gorgeous soup on colder days.Free wi-fi is available, there are treats for your four-legged friends, so join us at VG for a warm welcome and a spot of heritage on the Eyam trail.
